Chapter 21
Leigh dragged her feet. She pressed her feet to the ground to give her body more weight.
Rocky lost his patience. He swung her over his shoulder and carried her like a caveman.
Upended, she hit and punched his derriere, but Rocky retaliated by slapping her buttocks.
“Rocky! You are going overboard! Wait til your mom hears about this.” Leigh cried, angry that he was manhandling her and aghast at the humiliation he was putting her through.
They stopped and for a moment, Leigh thought Rocky would release her. He didn’t have plans of the sort, because the next thing Leigh knew, she was already inside his car. He pushed her none too gently inside before rounding to the driver’s side to get in.
