Chapter 22

It felt like hours when it only took Rocky a few minutes to get them inside his house.  When he dropped her to the sofa, Leigh felt woozy when the blood rushed to her head. 

“Why did you do that?”  She told him, holding onto the sofa's back for support.

Rocky did not even feel any remorse seeing her weak. 

“You’re running away,”  Rocky said matter-of-factly.

“Because I don’t want to stay here with you.”  Leigh saw his mouth tighten again. 

“Listen, Leigh, I am so tired of this. We kept arguing and arguing, but we’re not going anywhere.”
