My eyes refused to leave Chaney no matter how hard I tried to focus on something else. It was impossible. The way he nodded thoughtfully and smiled so gently at every word Pacard said was… so captivating.

I had no idea what Pacard was saying in French, but judging by the way Chaney's shoulders relaxed and his lips curved into those soft smiles, it had to be something amusing.

And those dimples…

My heart squeezed every time they appeared.

Chaney's ocean-blue eyes were my favorite thing

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀Why?Why the hell wasn't I pushing him away?Chaney. Chaney is the one I care about... the one I've been crushing on, the one I actually want. So why… why did it feel like I was loving what Demon was doing to me?I could feel his hands, rough and insistent, squeezing my breasts. And if I was honest with myself… I wanted more.Is this what I'd call Logan's Effect?"Your boobs are so perfect in my hands, Papillon," he whispered, his voice low and predatory as he pressed harder.I could feel my body reacting rapidly to his touch. Why was he having this much effect on me?Is it because I have never been touched before, and I have always imagined what it would feel like to be in a guy's arms? Was that why I was feeling this way? Or… was it because Demon knew exactly how to make a girl wet?"You're not stopping me... does that mean you like it?" he squeezed hard.Fuck!I'm screwed.I love it.I really, undeniably love it.I still have my dress on, and I was feeling this way. Woul

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀The party was already lively when we arrived. Music blasted from the speakers while people laughed, danced, and talked loudly.Manon and Zenia introduced me to several people, proudly telling them I had come all the way from California. Not long after, Chaney and Pacard arrived. My heart immediately began racing.I waited… hoping he would say something about how I looked tonight. But he didn't.Not even a single comment.A small wave of disappointment washed over me. Still, that didn't stop the feelings in my heart. He was still my crush.Maybe he was just too shy to say anything. Before I could think about it too much, Zenia and Manon grabbed my hands and dragged me to the dance floor."I don't even know how to dance!" I laughed nervously. But that didn't stop them.Soon I was moving along with the music, laughing and spinning with them.I had no idea what I was doing. But somehow… I loved it.Abigail Summers.Partying?Dancing? If someone had told me this would happen, I

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀Demon had tried to touch me.What was he thinking when he asked me to take off my lingerie? What exactly did he want to see?Did he think I was one of those girls he messed around with?I exhaled again, feeling thankful that he didn't push through with stripping my lingerie off.Chaney would never ask me to take my lingerie off. Guys like him would probably turn around and walk straight out of the room the moment they realized a girl was half-naked in front of them. But Demon? He had the nerve, the sheer audacity to ask me to strip. If I wasn't so terrified of him, I swear I would have kicked him right between his legs. He's nothing but a jerk! The more I get to know him, the more I hate him. I've never hated anyone this way, and honestly, no one could blame me if I preferred Chaney a thousand times over him.Who does something like that to a girl?I shook my head and tried to steady my breathing. Tonight, I planned on dancing with Chaney and I won't let Demon ruin the plan

  • 45 Days with Logan   Chapter 21

𝙇𝙊𝙂𝘼𝙉I arrived at the location where I was supposed to meet Ox and Pierre. The Onyx Room A private, soundproof lounge wrapped in black marble and silence. The kind of place where secrets are born and people disappear. This is where I carry out most of my demonic work… where I meet my clients. And when I say clients, I mean the kind of people who pay to see someone die.If it isn't about killing someone, then I'm not interested in that shit. When I stepped inside the Onyx Room, Pierre and Ox were bent over the snooker table, completely absorbed in their game. They didn't notice my presence.I wasn't exaggerating when I said I walked like a ghost. I moved like a ghost… a shadow pulled straight from hell. My footsteps never made a sound. People only realized I was there when I wanted them to—and when they did, it was usually too late.Pierre and Ox circled the table with matching grins, eyes fixed on the rolling balls, their carefree energy bouncing around the room. For a moment,

𝙇𝙊𝙂𝘼𝙉She stared at me, eyes wide, shock written across her delicate face. I knew she didn't expect me to ask her to remove her lingerie. But I didn't want her to take it off. Not really. If I had wanted it, I would've done it myself. I don't ask. I take... by force. The white lace clung to her skin as if it had been sculpted for her alone, delicate and tempting. Her small breasts were framed perfectly, visible through the sheer fabric. Not too full, not too small, just the perfect size to fit in my palm for a slow, merciless squeeze.Seeing her half-naked, my eyes couldn't help but notice the tiny dot-like moles scattered across her skin like little stars. Her body had that soft pear shape... smooth, untouched, almost too pure for the world she had wandered into. Her hips curved gently. Her waist was narrow enough that my hands could easily circle it.And her skin… it looked extremely soft.Of course, it was soft. A girl like her had never tasted real suffering."What... do you

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀I stepped backward immediately. "I… I went to Ruby's," I stammered, my voice higher than I intended."Ruby's?" he knitted his left eyebrow.I nodded. He stared at me, but I tried to avoid his scary obsidian eyes. This is why I said Chaney was so different from him. When I was with Chaney earlier, I wasn't so scared.I was free and comfortable, but with Demon? He always made me feel like I was one step away from dying."Come here," he instructed."Huh?" My throat went dry."Am sure you're not deaf. Come sit with me," he said in a low voice, but it was still scary. My eyes stared at the cobra crawling around his neck. I held the hems of my gown tightly. As if he read my fear, he raised his right eyebrow, and the cobra slithered back into its tank.Demon signaled me to come closer with his hand.I pushed myself toward him, perching on the couch he was sitting on.When our eyes met, he moved his eyes towards the ottoman chair beside the couch.A black nylon bag was lying on it.

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀I didn't know when sleep finally claimed me, but when I woke up, the pale sunlight spilling through the window told me it was already 11:54 a.m.I stretched my stiff body lazily, my muscles protesting as if they had fought a war in my sleep. A long sigh escaped me before I slowly climbe

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀I trembled beneath his suffocating gaze, my back pressed against the rough wall as if it could somehow swallow me and hide me from him. My heart pounded violently against my ribs. I didn’t know what to say to him.I mean… why would someone like him even care that I ran away from his hous

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀I walked down the narrow road until I was far away from Demon's house... that's when I started seeing buildings.Same old buildings, but different ones. L'Impasse des Ombres was really a big neighborhood because the buildings I was seeing were different from the ones I saw when I first a

𝘼𝘽𝘽𝙄𝙀I jolted awake from the darkness of unconsciousness as if an angel had tapped my shoulder and whispered that it wasn't yet my time to die. A loud gasp tore from my throat as I bolted upright on the floor, my lungs dragging in desperate air. Wait... I was still on the floor? My eyes
