A furious Lucius

Mia dropped her spoon and looked at Eva, her mouth hanging open as she tried to process what she just heard.

There was a brief silence before Mia found her voice to ask, “what did you just say?”.

“We are the LOVA mafia group” Eva repeated.

“Wow, this is very huge information, I will keep that in mind” Mia replied.

“Yeah, I just wanted to know who you are dealing with, especially with my brother,”  Eva continued.

“Well, Eva I know but don’t you think that there is a very suitable person for this job, I don’t …”

“You are the only one that can pull it off, I know it” she insisted and continued.

Mia looked at her food, suddenly losing her appetite, she took her glass of water and drank.

“What’s wrong?.Are you full?” she asked.

“Yes, I am,” Mia replied.

“Okay then, that aside I have already told you that my brother hates women, like he despises them so much”

“Yeah you have told me that but why does he do that?” MIa asked.

“I don’t know, I never asked and even if did he wouldn’t have told me”

“That would be so challenging, how am I supposed to seduce a guy that hates girls. Are you sure he is not gay?” Mia wanted to be sure because that was the only reason she could think of why he hates women.

Eva slammed her hands on the table startling everyone in the room both Mia and the maids, she clenched her fist hard, her knuckles turning white.

“I told that he is not and you and you are still bringing it up. Are you fucking mad!?”she yelled, glaring at Mia who looked down on the floor without meeting her gaze.

Eva then stood and walked towards the door, after taking a few steps she turned, “you can just chill for today, we will begin operation tomorrow” she said and left the dining room.

When she left, Mia released the breath she didn’t realize that she was holding, she relaxed in her chair and took three deep breaths.

“Wow, that was intense, but she shouldn’t blame me. Her brother hates women, what does he expect me to think” she muttered.

A maid that was standing in the room then went closer to her , “ma, should we bring more food?” she asked.

“No, I am done. Thank you so much for the food” Mia replied and stood up, she walked to the door only to remember that she can't locate her room.

She went to one of the maids and asked to help her locate her room, the maid agreed and then they both left the dining room together.

On their way to the room, Mia kept thinking about the deal she had with Eva, the task she was given was and she was pretty sure that she wouldn’t even pull it off.

She should just get someone else, why me?.

“Do you want a house tour ma?” the maid asked, interrupting her thoughts.

“No, let’s do that another day” Mia replied, she wasn’t in the mood for that now, there was a bigger issue at hand.

They reached the room and Mia entered and closed the door, the room had been tidied up and the freshly made bed was calling her.

Without wasting time she went to it and flopped unto it smiling as her body hit the soft mattress,

Even though she was in a hot mess now, she would always appreciate the little things that used to make her happy.

Mia then closed her eyes and wished for sleep to come but it didn't, instead she rolled all over the bed.

Suddenly an idea rushed into her head and she sprang up from the bed, she went to the cupboard pulling out all of the compartments searching for a pen and paper but she found none.

So she went out of the room and started walking down the hallway hoping she would see a maid, as she continued walking.

She met one that was coming out of a room with a vacuum cleaner, “please, can I get a pen and paper from you?” she asked her.

“Sure ma, I will bring it to your room” the maid replied.

Mia then went back to her room and not long after the maid knocked on the door, she opened it and the maid came in with the pen and paper.

“Here is the pen and paper, ma” she said.

“Thank you so much” Mia replied and the maid excused herself and left.

Sitting at the bed, Mia began listing out the things she would do before ninety day to make sure that Lucius fell for her.

A new wave of determination came over her as she was writing those stuffs, she was going to try her very best.

After she was done, she folded the paper and kept it on the small table beside her bed and then laid down.

Few minutes later she slept off only to be woken up by a maid that wanted to inform her that lunch was ready.

She sleepily got up from the bed and went into the bathroom to ease herself, “wow I have really slept long enough” she muttered.

After she was done with her business, she wanted to leave only for her to catch her reflection on the mirror and the soft gasp escaped her mouth.

Her hair looks like a thousand birds had a party on it, it was all over the place and the band she used to tie it was missing.

“I need to freshen up”

She went into the shower when she took a quick bath and then came out, walking to the wardrobe she wondered if Eva’s brother was back from wherever he went, she couldn’t help but have a conversation with herself.

And not only is he rich, he is  also a mafia boss and the owner of the LOVA mafia group, wow it is not really a small mess I got myself into.

Which is why I will make sure to do what Eva wants and get out of their lives, but how?, is not like I can browse about how to seduce a mafia boss on the internet and get tips.

But wait, I can browse on how to seduce a man right?, of course I can, I will do that later in the night.

With that new idea, Mia wore her clothes quickly and then left the room, just as she was out she realized that she is still not familiar with the place.

“But at least I can try to locate it” she thought and started walking down the hallway.

Soon a maid came into sight and she breathed a sigh of relief, “good afternoon ma, are you heading to the dining room?” the maid asked when she came closer to her.

“Yes, please can you lead me there?”

“Sure ma” the maid replied and then led her to the dining room.

As they walked Mia made sure to memorize the way to there so she wouldn’t have to be led there again.

“Here is the dining room, ma?”the maid announced when they got there.

“Oh, thanks,” Mia replied.

“Okay ma, I will be taking my leave now, there are…”

“Wait, please this isn't not Mr Lovato dining room right?”

Lucius would definitely kill her if she ever entered there before she could even seduce him.

The maid’s lips lifted up in a small smile as she replied, “it is not ma, I have a family to feed and dying early is not my fate”.

“Oh, okay”

The maid then opened the door and motioned on her to enter, she walked through the door and then saw Eva eating at the dining room.

Mia breathed a sigh of relief before she moved towards the dining table, she reached there and sat down facing Eva who was staring at her.

“What?, is something on my face?” she asked.

“No, I thought you were dolling yourself up in your room which made you late” Eva began.

“Well, I was thinking of ways to seduce your brother,” Mia replied.

“Nice, so what have you thought of so far?”

“Hmm, I will tell you later. Let me eat first” she replied.

A maid came to her immediately telling her the food that they cooked, Mia told them the ones to bring to her and then turned to Eva.

“First, I think I will need to read books on seduction and all that,” she began.

“Sure, I will get that for you”

“Ma, your food” the maid said, placing the dishes on her side of the table.

“Thanks” she replied and started eating.

“So what else?” Eva wanted to know about everything she had thought about.

“Please let me finish eating”

Both of them stopped talking and focused on their food, just someone knocked at the door.

A maid rushed immediately and opened it and a neatly dressed man came into the dining room, he walked to Eva and kissed her lightly on the lips.

After that he sat down, “who is this babe?” he asked motioning to Mia.

“Oh babe, this is Mia, my new friend, Mia, this is Nathan my boyfriend” Eva introduced.

“Oh he was the one trying to molest the other day, right?” she asked, glaring at him.

A wave of embarrassment came over Nathan at what Mia said, “em, Miss Mia, I am really sorry about that day, I thought you were Eva that's why I tried to do that to you” he apologized, his face looked sincere so Mia believed him.

“It is fine, someone already told me what to do to avoid something like that” she replied.

“Yeah, it is a good thing that you actually listened to the person, good job” Eva said.

A maid served Nathan food so he started eating while discussing with her girlfriend and also playing with her.

Mia almost puked watching them being lovey dovey, when she was through with her food she got up and proceeded to where the sink was to wash her hands.

Afterwards, she had taken a few steps to the door when, “Eva Bella Lovato !!” someone bellowed outside the door.

Soon she heard the sound of heavy footsteps approaching the door and then the door burst open revealing an infuriated Lucius, his eyes shot red, and a gun flashing in his right hand.

“You !” he yelled at Mia and strode to where she was standing.
