Mia’s heart sank into her stomach, her life immediately flashed on her face when Lucius started walking towards her.

Subconsciously, she took a step back but she tripped on her other leg and fell down, hitting her head hard on the floor.

“You! Get up from the floor now!” Lucius yelled, but the female was not responding.

“Shit!” Eva cursed and then got up and walked to Mia.

When she was closer, Lucius aimed the gun at her and she stopped in her tracks. “What are you doing, brother?” she asked.

“Wrong question, little sis. You should be asking me what you did?” he replied.

“Please, take the gun away and we can talk,” Eva reasoned, raising her hands up.

“It is a little too late for that, dear sis.”

“Please boss,…” Nathan began, but a single glance from Lucius made him trail off.

Eva looked at him and signaled him not to put himself in the issue, so he took the clue and kept quiet.

“Okay fine, what did I do now that made you want to shoot me?”
