Ryan's POV

With a frown on my face, I strode towards the front of the house.

One swift and forceful kick sent the locked door flying open, and I stepped inside.

Inside the sitting room, I saw her mother seated on the couch, indulging in a bottle of alcoholic drink. Would she tell me she had no idea of what was happening in her step daughter's room?

I approached her with a cold expression, fully aware of the house's atmosphere of sin and corruption.

I kicked off all the bottles of alcohol on the table, and they fell, piecing into shreds, before I turned to her.

"Which stairs lead to Scarlett's room?" I demanded, my voice unwavering.

This house seems complicated. It looks like an ancient building passed down to generations, but was now fashioned in a modern pattern.

"Th…that one," her voice trembled as she pointed to the second set of stairs in the sitting room.

"Give me the spare key," I commanded, and she handed it to me, trembling with fear.
