CHAPTER 45
Two days passed with Richard moving to and fro trying to negotiate bail for his daughter while on the other with hand Julia locked up in her room with tissues lying all over. She hadn't communicated with anybody in the last two days, and neither was she in the mood to talk to anyone at all. Hunger was the last thing on her mind, and she similarly hadn't had her bath in those past two days. Dragging herself out of bed she walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower before cleaning up her room and walking out, sure to grab one of the car keys on her way out. She had cried enough, and all she wanted was to let Richard feel the pain she had felt if not double. She was going to ensure Helen never got out of prison as payback, and she was going to ensure he died a slow and very painful death while hopelessly watching his beloved daughter suffer behind the walls of the unforgiving prison. She wanted him to regret ever being a resident on planet earth and she wanted to let it sink into

Julia locked up the main door just as Raymond loaded her suitcase into the car. She lingered by the door for a while, the memories of Joshua walking in and out playing at the back of her head. After minutes of trying to answer herself Julia eventually gave up and put back the picture where she found it. She looked around one last time then made her way out but bumped into her worst nightmare just as she walked out. She stared at him in pure disgust, while he looked at her in utter shock. A minute passed with the two standing stationary by the corridor staring at each other but the staring contest was ended by Raymond clearing his throat. He stood next to Julia and rested his hand on her back as if to assure her to stay calm. "This room is amazing! Look at this!" said the girl lifting up a flower vase as soon as Tinashe left"It is. Its amazing." she responded her eyes lingering anywhere and everywhere. It was a beautiful room, a medium sized book shelf stationed by one of the corners books neatly stacked. Raymond walked out of his room following the screaming and stood by the door stunned by the guards trying to kick the locked door open. Julia was the first person that came to his mind, and he immediately ran over just as the door was kicked to the floor. Raising his gaze, he met with an unfamiliar face, the clothing on her body being the only familiar thing to him. They were Julia's pyjamas. But why was she in Julia's pyjamas in fact, where was Julia?"******The rest of the girls ran into the house to witness whatever commotion was happening while Julia rolled the paper she had been reading and shoved it back into her skirts. She could feel the discomfort of having both the papers and the picture underneath her skirts but she wasn't letting any of them go, all she wanted was to get out of that place as soon as she can. She was beginning to realize the amount of danger she was slowly drowning into and to worsen the situation, she was completely unarmed. Ch

"So she is a thief too." scoffed Richard as the guards pulled her away. He picked up the broken frame and looked at it now left on his own. He closed the door and walked over to his seat, his eyes still set on the picture particularly at Helen. She was all he thought about, and she wasn't on her own in that cell but with his grandchild. And now Raymond on the other hand had witnessed a part of his brutality first hand after all the work he had put in to ensure his children never witness any of his dirty deeds. It had happened and there was no way to reverse it Raymond would have to get over it. But somehow it still got to him how he had failed his children. He felt like he had lost the bet his ego felt bruised. He was already getting sleepless nights because of Helen, the media creating all sorts of stories about his family and now Raymond was about to hate him for what he had witnessed. He felt as if his ex wife was right when she told him he can never be a good father to the child

Richard wore a black shirt, knee length pair of shorts and sandals walking into the room. Besides the three guards he walked in with, two more came in both carrying torches which immediately lit up the room. Julia looked at the six men staring her down and felt like she was going to collapse.
