Chapter Ninety-Six

She nodded, tucking her cheek against my palm. Her hand came up to my wrist and she wrapped her fingers around my wrist. Looking up at me, she stroked her fingers over my wrist. “I know, I’m just nervous. What if this, us, changes? I don’t want things to change.”

“It won’t. Nothing about my love for you will ever change. You could murder someone; Andreena and I would help you take care of the body with a smile.” I pressed a kiss to her forehead and she leaned her body closer to mine.
