CHAPTER 30— HARD

Lexie grabbed at his hand, stopping him from going any further. Her pride was buried under her feet now and only her arousal stood at the forefront of her mind.
"P-please," she begged. "Don't do this to me again, just touch me...please."
With gritted teeth and clenched fists, Zheme hauled his hand from her grasp. "I have no time for this, I have work tomorrow and I'm tired."
Those words sliced through Lexie's heart, completely shattering it and her lips quivered in a fight against her pride.
She wanted to again beg, only this time, she wanted to bend down on both knees and utter nothing but words of desperation.
But as always, her pride stopped her from embarrassing herself any further and instead reminded her of something she'd rather want to forget.

Lexie could hardly breathe, legs shaking, heart racing. She was lost in bliss. Lexie sat on the settee furthest away from Dan with a begrudging look pasted like a mask over her face. She didn't like the old man, in fact she hated him as much a frog hated salt, but she was curious and though curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back. And she'd receive that life restoring satisfaction today. She had just showered and brushed her teeth and on her way down the stairs, she had caught her hair in an overly messy bun. But Lexie didn't care about looks or hairstyle now, the truth of her kidnap was a lot more appealing to her.
