CHAPTER 61— BREAK TO SAVE
Lexie's heart that was foolish enough to believe him tore right open, her eyes leaking hot tears as she drowned in betrayal. He promised! He said he wouldn't, yet he still went ahead and did.

Tearing her gaze away from the floor and up to his dark eyes, Lexie rubbed her burning cheek. "Why...?"

Lexie forced herself to swallow the last piece of chicken on her plate, then glared up at Zheme who was currently washing his dish.
