~Damon~

“What's wrong with Aria?” I murmured, watching as she left the living room immediately I entered.

She had been quiet since I returned from morning training, sending the maids to convey her messages to me instead of speaking to me directly. I wanted to ask how she was feeling now, but each time I tried to talk to her, she found a way to walk away.

Seconds later, she walked out of the bedroom and left our quarters.

I stood up immediately and went to the window, wondering where she was going.

As she disappeared from my sight, I couldn't help but rack my head.

Why was she giving me the cold shoulder suddenly?

I sighed, my fingers combing my thick hair aimlessly.

“Late to work,” Xander chirped when I arrived at my Alpha office.

I stopped in my tracks, the memories of yesterday rearing up in my brain.

Would Xander betray me?

Does he have feelings for Aria?

I shook my head, shutting the ridiculous question out of my head immediately.

Xander would never betray me.

I had known

~Aria~I just stood in the spot, a wave of warmth and pleasure knotting deep in my core. “See you soon,” Damon winked, a naughty smug in his face as he walked out with Logan, leaving my heart thumping so hard, my head in a damn frenzy and my thighs already starting to tingle. My eyes swung to Beatrice who was battling with second hand embarrassment. She turned towards the door hurriedly. “I will come back when you are ready, my Luna—”“No, wait here. Just give me a moment,” I cut her short and scampered to the bathroom…to cool the burning in my skin. “Oh my god,” I groaned as I splashed my face with cold water. I held my chest, my breathing hard and ragged.Goddess, It would have been almost impossible for my scent to have not taken over the air if I had stayed out there in Damon's presence for another minute. After I felt completely normal again, I went out to the sitting room. Beatrice was still waiting when I came out.As soon as she saw me, she stood up. “My Luna.”“Sit,” I poi

  • A Bride For The Ruthless Alpha    Don't be shy

~Aria~The moment my eyes opened the next day, rays of sunlight filtering through the window struck them.I quickly squinted them shut as I pulled the sheet over my face. After that, I tried to move my body…“Ouch!” I groaned, a numbing ache tugging in my bones. It felt like a hammer had been used on my body the night before in a merciless manner, after I was completely wrung out of every fluid. “Awake?” Damon asked, walking through the door.“Mm-mmh,” I groaned softly and was about to speak. But suddenly, my mouth stopped. I blinked. It felt like my memory was in some sort of haze. Like I was missing something important. “Let me close the blinds,” Damon offered. As he walked towards the window, the sun rays casted across his face in a luminous manner. Dark brown hair glowed underneath golden rays, his grey eyes seemed to hold a new spark. My heart skipped.Just then, memories from nowhere flooded my head in a rush. I gasped, my eyes widening in shock and innocent disbelief.“Ye

~Damon~My pulse roared wildly as I watched Aria dart from the room, half embarrassed. But even after she left, her warm intoxicating scent still filled the room. Too Fvking Intoxicating.I tried to dismiss it, but was failing miserably.Thankfully, I had sent everyone out. Any wolf would go crazy the moment they smelt her scent. A pressure coiled hard in my chest. Like a faint static at the edges of my mind that made my wolf paced uncomfortably. I clenched my jaw and tightened my fists, trying to suppress it. But then, it hit me again, this time almost knocking air out of my lungs. I pushed myself out of the bed and was already striding out of the room before I realized it. The ache in my bulge thickened as I moved towards the washroom. The moment I reached the bathroom door, scent punched into me—sweet, warm, exciting.“Damn,” I groaned under my breath, my legs freezing. I inhaled again and before I could think, I pushed the door open. Right inside the bathtub lay Aria, cover

~Aria~“How's he?” I asked the Pack healer worriedly. Ever since we arrived home and brought him in, his face had been locked in a frown as he ran checks on Damon injuries, and I was freaking out at this point. He moved the container, emitting a kind of smoke warped with fragrance of all sorts over Damon's back. After a while, he set down the container and leaned up. My eyes followed his every movement. I was dying of impatience. “The rest remains in his will to live—”“What do you mean?” I asked, cutting him off.“My Luna, what I mean is our Alpha is strong. He will surely recover. Although the cuts are quite deep and already drained most of his strength before I arrived, I'm sure he can make it. We must have faith in the goddess to preserve our Alpha.”“Thank you,” I sighed, grateful for his work, but impatient with the long sermon. “He must be allowed to rest fully and properly,” the pack healer warned just before he finally left.I signaled Logan to escort him out and ordered

  • A Bride For The Ruthless Alpha    Taken

~Aria~As Xander tied up Killian, I ripped the promissory note Damon wrote into shreds. “How far is Logan?” Damon asked, his teeth gnashing in pain—pain from the silver swords he was struck with. Just before Xander could respond to his question, the doors of the hall opened. Logan strode in with the elders of Blood Moon Pack and their head Gamma warrior being dragged in by Redmoon guards. “Bloodmoon Pack is taken,” Logan sneered. “Bow to your new Alpha!” he commanded Blood Moon Pack elders and their head guard. “Please save us, Alpha Damon!” the elders begged as they fell on their knees. With their Alpha captured, they knew that Blood Moon Pack was now in the hands of Damon and he could decide to either wipe them all off the face of the earth or pardon them. “Save you…how dare you all bow to a bastard like him…” Killian growled, wriggling and clenching to free himself from the pillar where he was tied to.“You ruined us! Now you dare tell us who to bow to?” The chief elder of Bl

  • A Bride For The Ruthless Alpha    Time up, jerk

~Aria~“Get on your damn knees, Damon Luther,” Killian snarled. Without another word, Damon fell to his knees. My shoulder fell, every fight I had in me evaporating. Elder Wraith grinned in satisfaction. Seeing his own nephew fall at the feet of a tyrant like Killian was a sight of pleasure to him. What was I expecting from someone who plotted the death of his own kind and joined hands with his pack enemy. “I only came here to take what's mine….” Damon started weakly, blood soaked his jacket, his hair shone from his sweat, his eyes void of the desire to fight anymore…It was so sad seeing him give up to save me. I was broken seeing him this way. It felt like my chest would rip apart with the ache spreading in it. “I only came here for what's mine…I came with no warriors…no guards because I wanted nothing but peace…”“Peace? Don't be silly, Damon. There's no peace amongst us and you know that. The moment you stepped foot into my Pack, you willingly placed your life in my hands,” K
