Chapter 38 Being a Luna

Third Person's POV

Aiden is terrified as he sits on the bed with his back flush against the headboard and Thaddeus's pillow hugged tight against his chest. His knees are drawn up, and the blanket is pulled to his chest. Every little sound causes the Omega to jump in fear.

Rogues… They terrify Aiden. His old pack was attacked several times, and one specific time was quite traumatic for the Omega.

No one warned them that they were under attack, or at least they didn't warn Aiden. The Omega was oblivious to what was going on outside in the woods. Aiden was going about his day. His blood ran cold when he came out of the kitchen and came face to face with a rogue. The Omega tried to run away, but it was pointless. He was too weak and too slow. He didn't even make it two steps away from the rogue before he was attacked…

Aiden almost died that day. Many of his wounds were so bad he would have bled out if someone didn’t stitch them. It was the only time the Alpha ever sent Aiden to the
