Chapter 42 Purrs

Third Person's POV

After the elevator door closed, Aiden stepped closer to Thaddeus. His hand absent-mindedly slipped under Thaddeus’s hair and began playing with his neck. It was a sweet and intimate gesture. It caused the Alpha's heart to swell, and he smiled as he looked at his Omega. He felt Aiden's happiness through the link. The Omega was on cloud 9. He hummed a happy little tune that Thaddeus was unfamiliar with.

The Omega’s head tilts as the tune changes, and his fingers delicately caress his neck, sending a shiver down the Alpha's spine.

Thaddeus had never received such attention. As odd as it was, it felt unbelievably amazing.

Aiden suddenly hissed and withdrew his hands, bringing them to his ears as he whimpered.

Alarmed, Thaddeus reached over and touched the Omega, trying to figure out what was wrong.
