Third Person's POV

“I don't know, what if it doesn't work? It's going to make it worse. You'll hurt him even more,” Asher said as he dragged his hand down his face and began pacing.

“If it fails, I'll take full responsibility, but I don't think it will. I know he's in there. I just know it!” Michael said, pulling Asher to a stop, kissing the side of his face, and then pushing him toward the trees.

“Make sure he doesn't see you,” Michael said before turning to face the warrior with Alpha blood. He looked more nervous than Asher.

“I, I don't know about this. I-I, what if he doesn't stop?”

“Calm down! Don't worry about him, I will. You just focus on your job, and that's hurting me as much as you can,” Michael said, and the Alpha swallowed thickly.

The warrior looked into the woods and prayed Asher would keep his word. He looked forward, looked at Michael, and swallowed before quickly moving forward and landing a solid punch to Michael's face.
