CHAPTER 65

Jaida walked up to Arius and threw an arm around his waist, her snow globe in the other. She did her best to give him a hug in thanks for her present. It was hard to believe that Arius had thought of something like this. It made her perhaps decide to revaluate her interpretation of him. Perhaps Arius wasn't cold and insensitive. He was obviously a good listener if he had known that she wanted to see snow. There had also been that time when he had shown her the stars simply because she had wanted to see them. Even though he acted as if he didn't care, as if he hated everything, he obviously had a considerate side.

"Thank you," she said as she pulled away a bit. "I love it." She quickly got on her tip toes and gave him a kiss on his cheek before leaving the room, wanting to show her father her present.
