Jossie's POV:
We arrived at the apartment complex Nathalie lived at. We had to walk up four flights of stairs before I realized we had to walk back down a set. I had forgotten which floor she lived on. The only reason I switched floors was because the fourth didn't ring a bell. The upper levels looked older than the bottom. Like they were slowly remodeling the floors. We knocked on the door when I was sure it was correct. Nathalie opened it up. "Hey... Jossie, Come on in..." Her eyes landed on Casimir. "You too..." Her eyes met mine again. "I sent Malaya across the hall," she whispered as she opened the door wide for us. I nodded as I entered the apartment first and Casimir was last in. I wouldn't explain to him today that Nathalie had a daughter. If he was curious he could probably find out due to all the evidence surrounding the small apartment. Continuing Juliette's POV: "I asked the lady for a dance," I heard the stranger say suddenly. Who was this guy? Did he have a death wish? He shocked me as I never guessed those words would come from him. It was very bold of him to speak against a king. It was very... attractive. My eyes hesitated as I resisted looking away from Camren. Every excuse in my body told me to deny Camren from getting his moment alone with me. I wanted to hear what this stranger would say. I wanted to glide against the ball room's floor with him as lead. A dance? It could fun. It sounded exciting. "It can wait. This is more important," Camren said suddenly. His eyes would hold their gaze upon me. "You have a choice," the guy whispered in my ear. "You don't have to listen to him just because of his title. You're just as important." I widened my eyes slightly. I was... just as important? Who was this guy? Was he not from around here? This was crazy. Camren's eyebrows lowered in a scowl.

Jossie's POV: It amazed me at the size of their pack house. It was a gigantic manor. Something you would see somewhere in Europe's museum of houses. Our costumes would certainly go well with the manor's theme. Everything was modernized besides the year this manor was built. It had been well refurbished over the years. As if every year they had nothing better to do. This place must have personal grounds keepers for the landscape to be beautiful. The place was surrounded by an electric fence. Continuing Jossie's POV: Casimir's movement began to slow before he came to a complete stop. I wasn't sure how long it had been since we last stopped. The king's territory was so massive. I picked my head up as I caught the foul scent of blood on the earth. I looked around frantically as worry filled my thoughts. Casimir's body was tense and high on alert as we stumbled over a small creek that was iced over with blood spilled across it. There were different scents mixed in. Different blood.
