Chapter 13 - What's going on

Bella faintly froze and blinked with bewilderment that she did not even notice she had.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

Shawn Tan did not say anything and just slowly stretched his hand towards Bella’s head.

"What are you doing?" She looked at him warily. "I’m warning you! Dare to move your hand and I’ll make sure that you’ll never be able to use this same hand once again!"

Shawn just smirked at her knowingly, without saying anything else.

Bella only felt a slight tickle on the top of her head as he reached for something over her head. Shawn Tan’s big hand later appeared in front of her eyes, with a leaf clipped on the tips of her long and slender fingers.

Wait… was he just trying to take that leaf?

Bella, completely embarrassed for being overly worked up, cleared her throat while shyly scratching her hair. "You could have just told me what it is. There’s no need to trouble yourself with my death threats just to do it yourself."
