Eira’s POV

Watching the car drive past familiar places in the pack made my heart ache. Though I wasn’t originally from here, I had grown to love it. Even after leaving my own pack, I had preferred this one. However, I now regret that decision.

If only I hadn’t merged the two packs, I would have had a place to return to. But that wouldn’t have mattered—Kieran would never have let me go, and he would never have agreed to divide the packs either.

It had been years since my father’s death, and the packs had become so intertwined that separating them now was nearly impossible. Most of the influential members had already left after I ignored their warnings against the merge.

This was all my fault.

Now, I was on my way to another pack to be their Luna. But would they accept me? I had no history with them, no factual background, and after changing my appearance, I was nothing more than a stranger Magnus had picked up. A woman with nowhere else to go.

Would they welcome me?
