Garrett hit the brake and then put out the car engine via the ignition. He retracted his hand back to the wheel, staying rigid with his head down. His hands continued gripping the wheel even after a few seconds since he put the car to a halt. And when his hands began tightening on the wheel, it proved he was going through an internal turmoil.
He knew it was another time again where he would get to see his mate. Another time where he would have to put up with her constant act of ignoring him.
