“If you think about it, the first place that she would run off to is her uncle’s. She remains something of a member to the Red Crescent pack, remember?” Luke uttered those words as he tried to keep up with the pace of the man in front of him.
The man in particular, who was Garrett, seemed like he had no intention of slowing down. At that time they had made it out of the building they were in. Despite Garrett’s attitude, Luke had no choice but to keep on with the motion because he knew slowing down won’t help him meet up.
“I know,” came Garrett’s quick response to Luke’s statement, “but you might not be seeing the bigger picture,”
“What exactly do you mean?”
That was when Garrett stopped walking, almost making Luke collide with him. It was unexpected but Luke’s wolf ability came in handy at the right time.
