Chapter 73
The fall was heavy when I land in the river, with my whole body going deep below the surface. The struggle to stay afloat did not come any easy as I continued to go under. I think I might have forgotten that I have no idea how to swim before taking that jump. But there was no way I was going to give myself up to my pursuers in the first place.
Little by little, the only thing that was in my sight and around me was nothing but water. For a moment, I thought I was going to drown to my death. My water intake has gotten to a limit and I was losing air in my lungs already. Until the unexpected happened.
