DECODING MESSAGES

“I am glad that you are back, love…” Sandilo said and moved towards Vivian, the moment she entered the cottage. She dodged him without replying and walked past him.

She was not in a mood to talk to him. She wanted to sit down and sort out the mess in her head so that she could make a decision. She stomped into the study and slammed the door shut.

“Vivian, What happened? Please listen to me…” Sandilo called out, running after her.

He kept banging at the door every few seconds and calling out to her. Vivian covered her ears hoping to drown out the noise but Sandilo was relentless. 

“F***! Why doesn’t he give up?” She grumbled and punched the table in frustration. A scream erupted her throat as her hand came down too hard on the surface. She winced and jumped about in pain cursing her impulsive behavior.
