THE PROPOSAL
“This is absolutely stunning,” Vivian exclaimed as she spread out her arms and turned round and round. The cold breeze bit her skin but it was such a refreshing change from the hot temperature that she welcomed it.
The landscape was bathed in a scarlet glow, making it look like a painting, an alluring painting.
“Brrr…. Aren’t you feeling cold, Vivi?” Apra said grasping her hand.
“No, these clothes are made in such a way that it keeps temperature fluctuations from affecting me much.”
Vivian hugged Apra and called out, “Sandy, can you please light a fire. Apra is feeling cold.”
Veron and Sandilo had gathered firewood and lit up a bonfire in no time flat. Apra and Vivian sat on a log beside the bonfire and watched the sun go down while the others were busy in a meeting.

Vivian rubbed her eyes as she tried to pry open her eyes but they seemed to be glued together. She groaned and held her head. It throbbed like thousands of hammers were hitting her. She licked her lips trying to get some moisture back in her mouth that was drier than the sawdust.“Ahhhh!!!” She screamed as she sat up.
