"What do you mean starting today I will be homeschooled? Dad, you promised!" Shirley was shouting at the top of her voice, glaring at her father who just stared at her with a pained expression on his face.

Maxwell was standing at a corner of the sitting room with his eyes lowered to the floor.

Mr Lucas Blakes let out a deep sigh, and then reached out to touch his daughter's shoulder but she stepped back, avoiding his reach.

"You just do whatever you want! You never care about what I want anyway!" Shirley screamed, and then dashed upstairs to her room.

It was a bright sunny morning. Mr Blakes Lucas had just arrived back home as Shirley ate breakfast, preparing to leave for school. And that was when he had dropped the bomb. That starting from that day, she was going to be homeschooled until further notice. And he had already arranged everything. He wasn't asking for her consent. He was just merely informing her about what was going to happen…And that was how they had gotten there.
