Serena Sinclair had always been the most captivating she-wolf in the Mystic Moon pack. Countless male werewolves admired her.

But just as she was about to become Caspian Lockwood's Luna, explicit videos of her during her heat were sent to every werewolf's phone.

Her fall from grace came without warning. By the time she realized what was happening, the elders had already convened.

Serena was stripped of her status and demoted to the lowest rank, an Omega. Her qualification to become Luna was revoked, and the respect she once received disappeared overnight.

Even the werewolves who had once treated her with respect no longer bothered to hide their contempt, while some went so far as to storm the Lockwood residence just to cuss her out.

Serena forced her way out of the crowd and went looking for Caspian.

Those videos had only ever existed in one place, and he was the only one who had them.

He had promised her he would keep them safe, so she couldn't understand why they had now spread throughout the entire pack.

When she reached the Lockwood residence, she instinctively suppressed her scent. Before she could make herself known, voices drifted out from inside.

Caspian's chief guard, Huxley Zabinski, was speaking.

"Alpha Caspian, this worked exactly the way you planned. After this, Serena won't ever be able to become your Luna. She'll have no choice but to watch you mark Aurelia Laerwyn instead."

One of Caspian's confidants chimed in, "She brought this on herself. She kept clinging to Alpha Caspian and had no idea how much he hated her. To avoid touching her, he even had his brother, Forrest, take his place at night. He cleared the scent, swapped places, and recorded everything.

"If she ever finds out the one she's been sleeping with all these years was her lover's brother, do you think she'd be able to take it?"

A pause followed, then someone spoke again. "Forrest, how was it? Serena's the most attractive she-wolf in the entire pack. We're all jealous of you."

Forrest answered blissfully, "It was great. She's pretty and obedient. Everything about her is great. Honestly, I'm reluctant to let her go."

Caspian finally spoke. "If you still want her, then take advantage of the next few days. Once the elders settle the Luna replacement, she'll be kicked out of the Mystic Moon pack."

Cheers broke out inside. Huxley sounded pleased. "That's for the best. You've always liked Aurelia. If she had her wolf, the elders would've approved her long ago. You wouldn't have needed Serena at all. You had to go through all the trouble of getting that humiliating footage so the elders would give up on her.

"Honestly, you and Aurelia are the right match."

Inside Serena's mind, her wolf Astraea roared, "Liars, every last one of them! This is the man you love? They were in it together to trick you! Those despicable men were trying to destroy you!"

Serena covered her ears and stumbled away. She couldn't stay there any longer, because she knew she would lose control if she kept listening.

Her thoughts dragged her back to the first time she met Caspian. She had been cornered in an alley and beaten by a group of werewolves because she rejected the pursuit of an elder's child.

Just as a fist was about to hit her, Caspian shifted into his wolf form and asserted his dominance, forcing them back and saving her.

From that moment on, his presence stayed with her.

Later, she learned he was the Alpha's heir, a powerful Fighter, while she was just an ordinary she-wolf with nothing but her looks.

The gap between them made her hide her feelings and focus on improving herself, hoping one day she could be of use to him.

"The elders think highly of you. They believe you're the most suitable she-wolf to be my Luna. Serena, will you be with me?"
