The rest of the evening felt completely and wonderfully normal to Kelly. She and Kara had spent the afternoon cleaning up the house and doing laundry, and by the time supper was ready, they were spent and ready to relax.

Danielle didn't emerge until late after supper, and both Steve and Conner had left before Duncan had returned from working outside.
