Ivonne’s POV

For a moment after the elders walked in, everything inside me went completely still.

I felt like someone had poured ice water down my spine and frozen me right where I stood.

My fingers tightened around the script in my hands, and the workers who had been moving around the stage area suddenly seemed quieter, slower, like they were carefully pretending not to notice the tension that had just filled the entire venue.

I let out a slow breath, then another, trying to steady myself befo

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Kael's wife's name and an incoming problem

Ivonne's povWe had finally found something. Thanks be to the goddess!Elara leaned over one of the texts.“Here, look at this” she said and I moved closer. It was a short text in a book I had never seen before, but the important thing was that it mentioned Kael’s wife.To be specific, it mentioned her name.“Ivanna,” Elara read aloud. "Kael's wife was named Ivanna."I blinked. "Ivanna."My chest tightened slightly.“That’s… similar to my name, Ivonne” I said.Elara smiled. “Yes, That is quite a coincidence. But the crazy thing is that I have never seen this before, even though my family guards history, We have never been taught about her. Thats crazy.” Elara noted with a puzzled frown. She then showed me another portrait of Ivana.I studied it carefully. It didn’t look like me at all. Not even a little.I felt a strange mix of relief at finding her name but confusion at her appearance. Was this really her? Had I found the right person at all?But I remembered what the woman in my dre

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Progress and discovery

Ivonne's pov"Find the truth Ivonne."I woke up slowly the next morning, the kind of slow wake-up where your mind is still half tangled in dreams. For a few seconds I just stared at the ceiling with a sigh, trying to gather my thoughts, but the memory of last night came rushing back almost immediately.Another confusing dream of Her again. That woman with my face and silver eyes. And the strange conversation that had ended so abruptly. My chest felt a little tight as I replayed it in my mind. The way she smiled. The way she kept contradicting me in that calm, knowing voice. Yes, she was Kael’s wife… but also no she was not.Like.. what the hell, woman?!I still didn’t understand what that meant, and the more I thought about it, the more confused I felt. Before I could sink too deeply into my thoughts, I felt the bed dip slightly beside me.Then a warm pair of lips pressed gently against my cheek.“Morning,” Hector said softly.I turned my head and saw him sitting beside the bed, alrea

Ivonne's povI just stood there, wondering if I was imagining the tension between Hector and Elara but Before the moment could become awkward, Elara quickly spoke.“Actually,” she said, “Ivonne, maybe you could help me with something.”I looked at her.“With what?”“It’s about the play,” she said. “I think it might help distract you from everything that’s stressing you out.”I tilted my head slightly.“Okay… what is it?”She smiled. “Come with me.”I hesitated for a moment, then shrugged.“Oh Alright.”We walked away from the venue together, and after a few minutes we arrived at Elara’s clan home. The moment I stepped inside, my eyes widened.“Whoa.”The place was freaking massive. It was not as grand as the palace or my manor, of course, but it was still pretty impressive. It had High ceilings, long halls, shelves filled with old objects, scrolls, books, and artifacts everywhere.“This is magnificient,” I said.Elara laughed lightly.“Well, our clan is responsible for our guarding hi

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The truth or an Illusion

Ivonnes povI stared at the portrait for what felt like forever, my mind struggling to process what I was seeing. My heart had started beating so fast that it was almost painful, and I realized I had stopped breathing properly. I blinked a few times, but the image didn’t change.First of all, Kael looked exactly like Hector. Not similar. Not just vaguely familiar. He looked Exactly like him except for the color of his eyes.Same face. Same sharp jawline. But with silver eyes... just like Kael was supposed to have.Even the way he stood beside his family looked like Hector when he was being serious about something. And the woman beside him…My stomach twisted when I looked at her.She looked exactly like me. Not just close. Not the way some people resemble each other a little. It was me.Same face. Same hair. Same posture. Only difference was the silver eyes staring calmly out of the painting. My hand tightened around the book.“Oh my goddess,” I whispered. How had I not seen this befo

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The Identity of the silver eyed woman

Ivonne's povI began to read Kael's story again. This was the script version but it was still the same storyAnd Every time I read it, it stirred something deep inside me.I would always be in awe of His determination and His courage in the face of failure and defeat. How could anyone not admire The way he had refused to give up on his people? How his love for them made him transform into a supernatural beign and destroy all his enemies? The script Justin wrote perfectly described how the Night Devourers had begun attacking villages, wiping out entire communities, leaving nothing but darkness behind. Kael and the people had tried to fight them at first, believing that strength and determination would be enough. But he had failed. Again and again.Still, he didn’t give up. Instead, he turned to the spirits. He begged them for help but ofcourse the spirits refused him.Man, they said, was meant to remain human. Nothing more.So Kael did something no one had ever done before. He turned t

Of course he did. That man thrived on making me want to commit murder in the most gruesome way possible, and right now I had just handed him exactly what he wanted.A slow smirk stretched across his face as he looked at me like he had been waiting for this moment all morning
