When morning came most had still been asleep but that wouldn't last long for anyone. The sound of running feet could be heard and the strong scent of blood was In the air. I could hear raised voices from the main room which meant this was a dire situation. The moment I entered I could see the grim look on Valkias face, I guess they made a move.
" What has happened?"
" We just lost the central blockade... He made his move and somehow overpowered my people."
Her anger never existed till those she cared for became endangered or worse. She was going to do something reckless I could see it so clearly.
" Macy, do not leave her side I will return shortly."
" Abicus, this is my problem, not yours..."
" I will return with a victory and answers."

Macy/ Abicus wanted to head home but decided to postpone it a little longer. So we stayed with Valkia while he trained her further in tapping into his gift. Within a full day, he had trained Valkia enough to tap into his gift which soon lead to me. He admitted knowing nothing about my spirit but he genuinely wanted to help me learn. Macy/The place Rachel brought us was a vacant den that had the signs of fighting. But no bodies had been found or seen as we explored every inch of this place. Satisfied we wouldn't find anyone alive here we decided to look for anything that could point the way. I wanted to ask who this woman was but it felt like I would be digging into an old wound asking her. The more we searched the more frustration I could hear coming from her. They didn't leave anything here that was helpful and ultimately we had to give up.She had several ideas but I could tell she was stressing herself out. The day was mostly spent searching an empty den without any clues left behind. I know this is important to her but this isn't how we reach the end goal. When I looked at the map I noticed a city nearby which I decided to pull her towards. She protested at first but my logical reasoning was enough to quiet her down. Macy/When morning arrived we both took just a little longer to get up, last night may have been overboard for us.
