Nicole felt a million knots get tied up inside her the moment Raphael uttered that statement. She felt so excited and yet so scared. Her heart sunk to her stomach and she suddenly felt her palms becoming sweaty even though the room was chilly.
Raphael noticed she suddenly looked frightened and he arched a brow at her. "What's wrong? Don't you want it?"
