A MEANS TO AN END

The bodyguards Stanley hired finally arrived at their new house, and Stanley gave them a room in the compound so Lana could always feel safe.

He had spent so much money moving them all the way from Paris to a different place because Lana was more comfortable with them, and he knew that they were trustworthy. When Lana saw them, she felt very happy and told Stanley, "I feel so much at ease now."

"I know," Stanley said, "with them looking out for you or both of us, you do not have to worry about Gerald, okay? As for your family, I know I promised you that we're going to see all of them. Do not worry, I have not forgotten. You know your pregnancy is a high-risk pregnancy, so I do not want us to start traveling around in your condition. Once you have given birth, we'll go ahead."

"It's okay," Lana said. "I'm not really in a hurry, okay? I trust you and know you will keep your word. As long as it eventually happens, even if it's not right now or this year, it's still fine by me.
