Gerald began to tear off Lana's clothes. She wore a peach-colored gown that Stanley had gotten for her the day before.

Gerald tore off the top of her gown, revealing her white bra top which she wore inside.

Lana bit his hand and when he took it off her mouth, she screamed again and began to cry. He held the lower part of her gown and was about to tear it apart when someone pulled him from behind.

He turned and was shocked to see Stanley who usually came back very late from work. Stanley punched him hard in the face, causing Gerald to stagger backward.

Before he could find his balance, Stanley pulled him by his shirt and punched him again. He punched him the third time and Gerald fell on his back.

Savy ran into the room and tried to control Stanley who was livid at this point.

She stared at Lana who had retreated to a corner of the bed. She had curled herself into a ball and was shaking and crying, her gown was torn and her hair was disheveled.
