Rogue? What was he talking about?

“You've got some balls, you know, trying to come in through the border unlike other rogues who sneak in through the forest. Just look at the blood on her fur, probably from her last victim,” the guard accused, sneering at her.

Nora was short of words because of all places, she never expected to be harassed in a Pack where she reigned as Luna.

“I'm…I'm not a rogue. I'm—”

“That's what they all say,” the guard promptly interrupted her, nudging her backwards with his gun. “I'll let you off this once but if you take another step forward, I might be forced to use force.”

Nora looked at the faces of all guards surrounding her, noting the mixture of fear and distrust. What could she say to relieve their worry?

“I'm not a rogue,” she repeated, her voice rough and unusual because it was not her natural voice. “I'm your Luna,” she informed them, waiting for them to come to their senses immediately she told them who she was.

Nora sighed in relief as she sank into the tub filled with foamy bubbles, soaking up in the water. Her smile widened when Damien's hands came around her waist, cutting off the tiny distance between them. He was sitting in the tub behind her, her back to his chest. He was keeping his word, refusing to let her out of his sight for even a second. After they left the border, he glued himself to her the second they got to the packhouse, following her everywhere. Seyric, Ella and the rest of the household staff were glad to see that she was safe and back to her rightful home but Damien wouldn't let anyone get too close to her. When she suggested taking a bath alone, he only glared at her, dragging her with him into the bathroom and making her laugh out loud for the first time in two weeks. She winced when his fingers scraped against the wounds at her ribs and Damien froze immediately, keeping his fingers still.“Shit, I'm so sorry. I forgot you have injuries there but don't worry. I've call

A fly perched on Nora's snout and then another until they succeeded in waking her up. She shook her head, blinking until her blurry vision cleared. She was surprised to find herself surrounded by tall trees in a place she was not familiar with.Where am I? She asked herself, taking note of the fact that she was in her wolf form. How did I get here? The only thing she could remember was fighting her way out of the place where she had been kidnapped and eventually passing out. Anything else after that was lost on her. “After you passed out, the weather got cold so I made you shift back to wolf form. We are in a forest not far from where you escaped from,” Nyx explained and for the first time, Nora noticed that her arms were covered in fur. Then she remembered the last thing Nyx said. If they were still close to that prison, then she had to get on the move. Alejandro and his men were probably still looking for her so, if she remained there, they would definitely find her.Nora was hung

  • A Mate For The Rogue Alpha   Kill all of them

Damien's POV After dinner that night, I went outside to sit in the garden. Nora used to love sitting there, so I went there to feel close to her. The flowers she had planted herself were dying because she was not around to take care of them anymore. My wolf whined because everything seemed to remind me that she was still missing. I hated seeing Ella hold the children as if she was taking Nora's place. With Nora unavailable to breastfeed them, Ella had resorted to feeding them through bottles. I barely tasted dinner, not even remembering what was served because I had eaten it mechanically. Nothing made sense anymore without her and I was barely surviving everyday. Even the stars in the sky had each other for company yet I was all alone.“Where are you, Nora? Why can't I seem to find you? I'm losing it, I'm slowly losing my mind without you,” I confessed in the silence of the night. My wolf was feral but since I met Nora, I was no longer tempted to go berserk and start a killing spree

  • A Mate For The Rogue Alpha   One step at a time

Nora's POV I listened at the door, the guards outside playing some game that involved a dice. They were laughing while I ran through the door, my wolf knocking it down with my head. Before they could come at me, half of them were already lying dead. We didn't have time to waste, cutting down the guards before they could alert others. Alejandro and Amy couldn't be far away although I had not seen either of them all morning. I heard the guards talking about a recent attack on Alejandro's packhouse so, maybe that was what was taking their attention. It was to my advantage anyways. I went through the dimly lit hallway, keeping my ears open for any sound of footsteps approaching. I was panting, tired from fighting on an empty stomach but Nyx kept me going somehow.I turned into a corridor, the blood of my paws leaving tracks on the floor. The hallway was quiet, too quiet but I didn't meet anyone on the way. Just as I was getting to a point where I could see some light, my wolf got excite

  • A Mate For The Rogue Alpha   I want my mate

Alejandro sat at the head of the council table, his head properly bandaged and his face swollen with bruises. Condolences came from every corner and he soaked it up, enjoying the sympathies of the other Alphas seated around the table. It wasn't just Alejandro's pack that was attacked; the Alphas of the other packs Damien's troops had attacked were also present, fuming with anger. It was as a result of this that Alejandro called for the emergency meeting between all Alphas. As expected, Damien did not attend the meeting because it was obvious that the meeting was organized against him.“We have been condoling a lot of Damien's excesses but this time around, we can't keep quiet!” Alpha Mordecai yelled, banging the table with his fist.“Exactly!” another Alpha supported him. “Last time he was here, he threatened all of us openly and still walked out of here unpunished. If we let Damien get away with this, who knows who else would follow in his footsteps?”“And what are you trying to ins
