Finding Roman

Nicole opened her eyes with a start and she felt a stabbing pain in the back of her head.

Her eyes were as clear as day but then her head was in a mushy state.

She couldn't remember what had happened the night before.

The rays of the morning sun shone through the windows, as Nicole continued to reel on what had happened.

A few seconds later, the scenes of last night started to flood in her head. Her eyes widened in shock as she remembered what she had done.

Immediately, she shot up to her feet as her heart thudded in her chest.

Last night, while Roman was in the study after Nate left, Nicole had gone to see her parents.

There she found her mother bleeding from her stomach.

Without thinking twice, she had rushed back to the room to look for Roman, however, he wasn't there.

She was livid and it felt like she was going to kill Roman. She was overwhelmed by an emotion she didn't recognize.
