Past Demons

Lisa watched the door close after Will, barely able to rein in the rollercoaster of emotions that gripped her. Why now? Why did he have to show up at this time in her life? She turned to Raymond who was busy playing with her title plaque in his hand while sitting on her desk and looking around her office like he had never been there.

After the door closed, he turned to look at her. “Now, where were we?”

She folded her arms as she turned to look at him. “You have no right to barge into my office without pre-informing me!”

He smirked. “Go ahead and give your employees something to talk about. Yell more and let them know you are in such a ‘happy’ marriage.”
