The hospital room stayed frozen for what felt like hours. After what Ella signed and after Cane interpreted what she said to Dante and Harvey, not a single person said a word.I stared at Ella as she stared back at me with those bloodshot blue eyes. My wife slept through the rest of the day and the night. The only time she woke up was when I focused her to sit up so she could at least have her dinner.Ella was completely exhausted . Even while she was having her dinner, she was barely moving around. I ended up feeding her more than half of her dinner.
