Tulip's POV. "TF!" Xavier cursed, jumping away from me as he stared at me like I had grown two heads as I chuckled. "What?" I pulled him back by his collar and tried kissing him again, but he threw his head to the side, and I ended up pecking his cheeks. Anger surged in my veins. 'Must be the alcohol.' I thought because there was no reason for me to feel pissed, since I hated this dude and just wanted to use him now as a means of revenge. "I am that undesirable to you?" I pouted and he looked deep into my eyes, cupping my cheeks in his hands and kissing me deeply. I lost my breath as he thrust his tongue into my mouth, his hands stroking my hair as he wrapped the other hand around my neck. His sweet dominating scent filled my nostrils and I wondered how I was able to perceive that when he wasn't even my mate. ‘Must be the alcohol.’ I broke the kiss and looked away, biting my lower lip hard because that was intense and I found myself drawn to him like never before. "You are the most beautiful lady I have ever set my eyes on." He leaned in to whisper into my ear and my heart skipped a beat. 'What?' I wanted to scream but held it back in as I turned to look into his red eyes, surging with want. I disengaged from his embrace, sat back on the stool, and ordered two more shots, which I swallowed down my throat. I shuddered as the hotness hit me again, tightening my face as intoxication messed with my brain. Xavier didn't stop me; rather, he kept looking at me in awe. "Get up." He ordered the guy sitting opposite me, but the blue-haired dude just scoffed, ignoring Xavier, and that was the worst mistake of his life. Xavier grabbed him by his collar and sent him off the stool, reeling to the ground then taking the seat like nothing happened. "You bastard!" The blue-haired dude raged, rushing to punch Xavier in the face but Xavier blocked the punch and elbowed him in the stomach. The guy coughed out, dropping to his knees and clutching his stomach tight. The bar went silent, witnessing this. People stopped dancing as even the DJ paused the music. There was a lot of tension brewing that I was sure a knife could cut through at the moment. "Isn't that Xavier?" "The former Biker Gang sub-captain?" "Words are he is an Alpha and is following in his Dad's footsteps now." Rumors began to fly around but I didn't really pay much attention to them because my brain was fuzzy. "I guess you are still as toxic as ever." The barman reached to slap Xavier on his shoulder, and Xavier giggled, before they got engaged in a friendly banter. 'Seems like they know one another.' I thought and rested my head in my palm, feeling my vision blurry. The barman now seemed three in my sight, instead of one. Just then, I felt someone's warm hand patting me on the back. I froze, raising my head to see that it was Xavier. My stomach dropped and began to hurt heavily. I let out a little groan, feeling bile rush to my throat. Xavier seemed like he was about to reach forward to touch my cheek when I slapped his hand away. I turned and dashed out of the club. Luckily, I was outside, my hand resting on a wall as I bent and vomited the entire contents, turning my stomach. For like two minutes, I was still vomiting and looking around for what to use to clean up when I saw a hand offering me a bottle of water. "Thank you." I appreciated, looking up to see it was Xavier, looking at me with a trace of worry flashing through his eyes. "You okay?" He questioned and I nodded immediately, washing my mouth, adjusting my gown, and then letting him lead me into his vehicle. I was truly out of my mind then and really drunk; otherwise, I wouldn't even step two meters close to him. "You caught him, didn't you?" Xavier asked as he slammed the passenger door shut, turning around to get into the driver's seat. "It's why you are acting this way." My blood turned cold at his words. Did Xavier know something all this time? "Caught him doing what?" I decided to beat around the bush and Xavier threw me a look. "Cheating on you." He answered and I took a deep breath. "You knew?" I narrowed my eyes at him and he shrugged. "Since last year," Xavier told me and I felt my world crumbling. 'He had got to be kidding.' I thought in panic wondering how long I had been played for a fool. "Tried to warn you." Xavier opened a flask I didn't even notice was in his hand and started drinking. "How?" I found myself glaring at him even though he probably didn't deserve it. "Well, you never allowed me to complete my statements about him." He ruffled his hair and I tried not to gawk at how beautiful he looked with his hair falling all over his face. 'It was the alcohol.' I told myself, otherwise I wouldn't be admiring this piece of shit. "Because you were an asshole." I tried to get out of his car but Xavier grabbed me by the arm and drew me closer to him, his hand on my face. My heart raced heavily against my chest as I collided into him, our eyes locking in an intense moment, our lips just inches away from one another. He stroked my cheek with his fingertips, and I shivered, saliva gathering in my mouth, which I gulped down. Before I knew it, he bent and captured my lips with his and I found myself reciprocating, wrapping my hands around his neck. He lifted me from the passenger seat into his lap. My hands stroked his hair I was so dying to touch, my hips grinding against him as his hands dug into my flesh. I started to unbutton his shirts when he grabbed my hands, stopping me. "Are you sure?" He asked, and I nodded, licking my lower lip. I unzipped my gown and allowed him to feast on my body, but he zipped up my dress, placed me back in the passenger seat, and drove off. Our lips were still locked together even as we walked into the hotel room, Xavier kicking the door shut with his legs. He placed his hand on the door, caging me as he breathed onto me, his alluring scent, which was a mixture of rose and tulip, getting into my nose, it was irresistible and before I could stop myself, the words escaped me. "Mate." 'What the heck! Impossible.' I cried out in my head as I tried not to shake. How could Xavier of all people be my mate? I could feel my wolf leaping in excitement. “You are mine..” He let out a groan, one I enjoyed hearing from him as he wrapped his hands around my waist and pressed me deeper into him. My boobs rubbed against his chest and caused some friction that made me let out a moan into his mouth. His other hand left the door after bolting it, wrapping itself around my ponytail, dragging it a little as he shoved his tongue into my mouth. I nibbled on his lower lip, returning the same passion he delivered.. My hands left his neck and started unbuttoning his shirt as he unbuttoned mine as well, getting it off me and breaking our kiss. We both breathed heavily as we looked at one another. His eyes sparkled as he looked at me intently, his hands moving to cup my boobs through my bra. I let out another moan as he teased my nipples through the bra. He bent and reclaimed my lips again, his hands moving to my thighs now, under my gown. His hands drew circles on my legs, and I tingled with anticipation, especially when he itched closer to my panties but then suddenly stopped as he lifted me. I wrapped my legs tightly around his waist as he moved away from the door onto a table I didn't notice was in the room. "Hmm."I chuckled against his lips as he bared my neck for him to bite into, his hands roaming all over my body possessively. "Tulip." He whispered my name as he unhooked my bra while I trailed my hands all over his muscular build. A heavy breeze hit my boobs, making my nipples harden. I almost let out a scream when he took one of them into his mouth while rubbing the other. Pleasure ripped through me and I found myself grinding against him. His hand tore at my panties, dragging them down and exposing my pussy to bare air. He plugged into me and I yelped in both pain and pleasure, giving myself to him.Tulip’s PovIt had been a year since I gave birth to my son, Duke. Life felt lighter. Freed from villains, rivals, and fear, all I had now was family, love, and a sense of peace I never thought I would experience so fully. Duke was still sleeping peacefully in his crib, his tiny chest rising and falling with such innocence that my heart swelled with love.“Hey, Tulips, I just prepared your favorite meal. Please come join us at the dining table,” Xavier’s aunt called warmly from downstairs.“I’ll be with you all shortly, Aunt,” I replied, smiling. I watched Duke for a moment longer, brushing a soft strand of hair from his forehead. I whispered a gentle “good morning” to him, and he let out a tiny yawn as if he understood.Xavier’s family had truly become my home. They had embraced me from the very beginning, treating me as one of their own. Their warmth, laughter, and support made every day feel like a blessing. I often found myself thinking, what more could I ask for? Aside from the
Xavier’s PovWhen I got back from Eli’s place, I didn’t see Tulips in the house. The silence felt strange. At first, I thought maybe she went to Clara’s house, but when I called, she wasn’t there. That was when uneasiness settled in.Her phone was ringing with no response until I noticed it lying on the couch. My heart skipped. Tulips never left her phone behind. I felt confused and scared at the same time.“Where could she be?” I muttered, my voice low and shaky.I picked up her phone and noticed that the recorder was on. She was probably recording something. My hands trembled slightly as I opened her phone using her password. We knew each other’s passwords, and for some reason, I felt compelled to listen to the recording. To my greatest disbelief, she had recorded conversations with Danzo.“Danzo was here?” I said out loud as I continued listening. My anger slowly turned into rage.I grew more infuriated when I heard the location he took her to, which he mentioned to some guys who
Tulip’s PovI stood behind Xavier as he spoke to Danzo, my fingers clutching the edge of his shirt. My heart was racing so fast I was sure he could feel it through his back.I was scared, deeply scared, but for reasons I could not explain, I refused to let it show. Fear had no right to win tonight.“What could he possibly be doing here?” I muttered to myself. “And how did he even know we were staying in this villa as a family?”The questions crowded my mind, each one louder than the last. Nothing about this made sense. Danzo had been locked away. We had moved on. We had rebuilt our lives piece by piece. Yet here he was, standing right in front of our door like a ghost that refused to stay buried.I wanted to ask him everything. How he found us. Why he was here. What he really wanted. But something deep inside me told me to remain silent and let Xavier handle it.“I know you two may be wondering how I got here and why I am here,” Danzo finally spoke. The air went still. Even my breath
Xavier’s PovOne year later.“After your marriage you’ve been so distant,” Oliver said over the phone.“So Tulips finally took you away from me?” he added, and we both laughed.I laughed before replying. “I haven’t been distant, Oliver,” I replied calmly. “I’ve just been busy taking good care of my wife. She’s pregnant, remember?”“Oh, that’s true,” he said, sounding amused.“How about Amira?” I asked. “How’s your marriage been?”“Well, it’s been great as usual,” he replied. “She’s pregnant too.”“What?” I exclaimed, sitting up straight. “No way. Are you serious?”“Yeah, you heard me right, Xav,” he said, laughing.I laughed too, genuinely surprised. “Congratulations, man. You never told me. I honestly didn’t expect to hear that.”“Just like I didn’t expect to hear that Tulips was pregnant either,” he replied, and we both laughed again.“So we’re both expecting babies,” I said, still trying to process it.“It’s what it is,” he replied simply.“We really need to have a family dinner t
Tulip’s PovOne week later.“My valedictorian has finally woken up,” Clara teased as I slowly opened my eyes.“Will you ever get tired of that name? It’s been a week already,” I mumbled, still half-asleep.“No, not today and not tomorrow,” she replied firmly. “You deserve to be called that name always because you worked for it, girl. You earned it with every ounce of effort you put in.”I smiled softly, feeling the warmth of her words. “Thanks, Clara,” I said quietly. “Anyway, I’m starving.”“I woke up early and made your favorite meal,” she said cheerfully, her eyes sparkling as if she knew exactly how to lift my mood.I swung my legs off the bed and stretched, heading toward the kitchen. “I will miss you so much when you and Idris finally get married. The way you treat people, the care, the attention—it’s just too sweet. I’ll miss all that good treatment.”Clara smiled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “You can always come to our house when we get married. I will prepare al
Xavier’s PovFour months later. The graduation day was finally here.I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my graduating garment carefully, making sure it sat perfectly on my shoulders. I stared at my reflection for a moment longer than necessary, letting the reality sink in. College was officially over. All the sleepless nights, the stress, the exams, the moments of doubt, and even the victories had led to this day.“The graduation day is finally here,” I mumbled to myself, straightening my collar. Before I could dwell further on my thoughts, a gentle knock sounded on the door and my aunt walked in with a warm smile on her face.“It’s certainly going to be a great day for you, Xavier,” she said, her eyes scanning me from head to toe. “You look so handsome.”“Thanks, aunt,” I replied with a small smile. “You bought these shoes and suit for me, so you deserve appreciation too. Thank you.”I walked closer and hugged her tightly. She had always been there for me, supporting me in w
