Tulip's POV.

Tonight was when I would lose my virginity to Damian, my boyfriend, my mate. He had been patient enough to wait ever since our mating ceremony, and I made a secret deal that when I get the approval to be a Coach to Hockey Dreamers players, I shall be ready for sex.

I applied the red lipstick on my lips, ensuring I was good to go in the mirror before exiting the dorm room. I was locking up when;

"And where is the nerd going, dressed like this?" I heard the voice of Xavier Grey, my childhood bully and Damian's cousin who was also his greatest rival.

Those two never saw eye to eye; otherwise, it would be war, and sadly, Xavier always won. We all went to the same college and are in our final year.

Damian and I both made an application to Nevermore, Sports Academy. Damian wanted to join the Hockey Dreamers Team, while I wanted to be one of the Coaches.

And as for Xavier? I had no idea what his plans after college were, perhaps to take over his father's pack? I waved the thought off my mind, afterall I didn't care to know.

"What do you want Xavier?" I turned to ask him, noticing he had dyed his black hair red, and surprisingly, he looked hot.

"Just answer me." He licked his lower pink lips and I noticed a piercing on it.

'Fuck!' I cursed within as I also noticed the tattoos sneaking up his arms.

Did this dude have a makeover or what? I was a sucker for men with tattoos and piercings. Damian planned to get one once he got accepted into Nevermore.

Since I had gotten my acceptance letter, he should have too, which was why I was going to his place, so we could celebrate together and end up in bed.

“I almost can't wait.” My wolf, Leslie, whimpered in excitement.

A smile crossed my lips at the thought of him finally thrusting in me.

"Earth to Tulip." Xavier snapped his fingers in my face and I frowned at him.

How dare he interrupt my thoughts?

I just ignored him and made to walk past when he grabbed me by my arm, turning me to face him.

A shiver ran down my spine as I stared into his red eyes.

"You didn't answer my question." He reminded me as if I had forgotten.

"Because it's none of your business." I snatched my arm away from him and adjusted my bag on my shoulders.

"But if you must know, I am going to fuck my boyfriend," I told him and his jaw tightened.

I was expecting his usual rude remarks about Damian and was ready to put him in his place yet again but to my surprise, he just turned around and left.

I didn't linger for long and left the building too. I hired a cab to Damian's apartment and found the door locked. Thankfully, I had a spare key and could wait for him at home.

Perhaps he was out, it was also my fault for not informing him before coming. My phone died, and I was just too excited to wait for it to charge. I wanted to see my baby right away, to share the news.

I opened the lock and shut the door behind me. I noticed the lights were on and furrowed my brows in confusion.

'Did Damian step out in a hurry and forget to switch them off?' I pondered but then shrugged and proceeded to unzip my bag, to bring out the lingerie I had bought with my savings.

I was about to unzip my dress to put it on when I heard a loud moan. I froze, then turned to look at the huge TV on the wall. It wasn't on, so where did that noise come from?

I heard another one and my heart skipped a beat as I began moving towards the bedroom where the sound seemed to be coming from.

Was a friend of Damian borrowing his apartment? I questioned myself but just then, I picked up his alluring scent and headed towards his room.

The door was left wide open, so I peeked in, and what I saw made my hand tremble. The lingerie dropped to the floor, and my lips parted in shock.

"Damian." I wanted to scream but I choked, my voice suddenly disappearing as I watched my man eating the pussy of Malia Moore, my competitor in school.

Malia had her tongue all over Damian's dick, her hands cupping his balls as she gulped his entire length, saliva dripping from the corner of her mouth.

They were in a 69 position, and Damian even spanked her ass, so she let out another moan, throwing her head backwards, and that was when our eyes crossed.

At first, her eyes widened in shock, but it disappeared as soon as it came, the side of her lips curling up into a smirk.

Damian must have noticed she wasn't paying attention to his dick any longer, for he opened his eyes and when he saw me, he threw Malia off him and jumped out of the bed.

"Baby, w-what a-are you doing here?" He stuttered, trying to cover himself with the duvet that was stained with his cum.

I couldn't answer; my mouth felt too heavy as my eyes welled up in tears, my heart tightening in pain.

This guy was supposed to be my mate. I had been waiting for this night so he could claim me and when he finally takes over his father's pack, I could be his luna!!!

Damian tried coming closer to me while Malia relaxed on the bed, chuckling as she gave me her middle finger and a wink.

I knew what that meant. She had won the bet. She promised me last month to screw Damian, and I vouched for him, putting my trust, which was now broken, at stake.

“Let me take care of this piece of shit!” My wolf, Leslie growled but I stopped her from transforming. There was no need for that.

"B-babe, please I can explain." Damian tried touching me but I slapped him hard on the face.

“Explain the fact you were screwing her?” I asked, tears threatening to roll down my burning cheeks.

“You know what, save yourself the stress of explaining. I Tulip Whitmore reject you Damian Grey as my mate.” I spat.

“Baby common, it's just sex.” He shrugged.

"Go to hell." I screamed.

I ran out of the room, grabbed my bag, and left his apartment for the woods. I cried, yelling as I felt my wolf struggling to take over.

I let out a howl, letting her take over. As I transformed, my claws hit the ground as I picked up my pace. I ran through the woods till it was fully dark and then shifted back, got dressed, and hailed a cab.

"Where to, miss?" The driver asked, stretching a tissue toward me. Apparently, tears were still rolling down my cheeks.

"Thank you. Any club please." I replied as I wiped my tears, lips quivering.

How could Damian do this to me? After everything we had been through and all the promises we made to one another?

I was sure going to get my revenge. I don't know how yet but it would be in a way that would crush both Malia and Damian.

The blaring music from the speaker made my head ache but I endured and just moved to the bar.

"Ten shots of Vodka, please," I ordered, and the barmen proceeded to do as asked.

Five shots down my throat in less than a minute and it felt like hell as my throat burned, my heart aching.

"Damn! You are drinking now?" I heard a familiar voice and turned to see Xavier, looking at me with his jaw dropped and then it hit me, it was him.

Xavier was not only Damian's greatest rival but also Malia's crush. The same bitch sabotaged her friends, just to have a date with him.

I don't know what she sees about him but I am about to find out.

I licked my fingers and motioned for Xavier to come closer with them. He blinked repeatedly at me, like he wasn't sure I was the one.

"Does Tulip have a twin now?" He questioned as he walked closer to me. I smiled, grabbed him by the collar, and sealed our lips together.

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    Conflicted Emotions

Xavier's POVListening to those words from Tulip, I immediately became confused. I did not know whether to believe her or just keep assuming things. I did not even know what to think. But I couldn't hold it in anymore. I held her hands tightly, trying to reassure her. "I never said I hated you either. It's just that I don't want this contract. I want us to be together because we love each other," I said to her as she shrugged."No, no, we can't. I can't be together with you. Do you know the kind of problem it is going to be? I want to concentrate on what I came to this academy to do. Please let me concentrate. You won't let me concentrate the minute I start having any relationship with you. The minute anybody finds out about it, they're going to use it to threaten me. They're going to make my life miserable, and I don't plan on doing that," she said as I scoffed. To me, all of the things she said were nothing but an excuse because I saw no reason why she couldn't just believe in me

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    True Feelings

Xavier's POV It still seemed like a nightmare. The whole crowd went silent the minute I passed the winning line. I couldn't believe it. Danzo followed almost immediately and then the rest of the players. Everyone was stunned. Danzo was like one of their best bikers, and I actually won against him. Just when I was not expecting it. I had no plans of winning this guy. In short, I did not even think I was in any category close to how fast he was. His bike was plain dead. Everything was just fine, perfect. But yet I won him. I turned and looked at Tulip. She was stuck. She couldn't heal; she couldn't jubilate. She couldn't celebrate for me. But she was surprised. I could tell. I knew all of them came here to support Danzo. Even Damian came here to shame me and make sure that Danzo won. I won the competition, and I won the prize. Oh my God. I drove my bike back to where Tulip was. I avoided her. I took my seat and cleaned my forehead from the sweat I had. Maybe it was out of the panic

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    The Competition

Xavier's POV I thought warning Danzo was all I needed to do to get him out of my way. I thought he would heed to my warning or even get a little bit scared of me and just stay away. But I was just deceiving myself. The school session was soon over and as we made our way back to the house, I noticed Danzo drove his bike and was waiting in front of the school premises. I looked confused and just then Tulip rushed out of the building. Her bag hung around her shoulder as she raced. “I'm going to be following that one. He wants to take me to one of his bikers' competitions and I am like his hype woman. You understand?” she said as I shrugged. I pulled her back immediately and whispered, “You are not going.” She looked confused. “What did you just see? Did you just look at me in the eyes and tell me I am not going? I am going to go anywhere I want and you will never ever ever change that. Until we sign the contract, you have no right against me. You cannot tell me what to do, when t

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    The Jealousy Game

Xavier's POV And just as I expected, the minute I stepped into the class, I saw her already laughing so loudly at Danzo's words. And of course, he had to look at her so seductively, placing his hands on hers in a way that made me furious. Everything that he did just pissed me off. But I just had to hold it in. I wouldn't let her see me weak, see me bothered by anything she does or the way she acts. I walked past them and sat just behind her, and as expected, they were all just talking about something boring, something that made no sense. I stayed there, patiently waiting for her to finally realize that I had stepped into the class and she was not meant to talk to Danzo. And just as I expected, she noticed me. She turned to me and then smiled. “Xavier, aren't you doing the training anymore?” She asked as I rolled my eyes. “I need to talk to you privately.” I said. Just then, Danzo pulled her back. “She cannot talk now; she's busy. We are having a lot of interesting gists.”

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    A Battle for Affection

Xavier's POV I know I shouldn't have told her this word. It seemed like nothing but a discouragement, but I had to. I had to be sure of what I'm getting myself into. I need to be sure that she wants to stick with me at the most important time. I have to know if truly she loves me or she's just doing this for the sex. What am I even doing? I'm just fucking deceiving myself. I know she's doing this only for the sex, but at least she needs to make me a little bit important, just as I think I am. I hope I am really important to her. I looked at her, waiting for her response as she smiled, clapping her hands in the air. “Definitely. Isn't it obvious enough to you? I don't care what your dad says or anything. I want you, okay? I just want you to myself and I don't care how it's going to happen. You made me be like this. You placed me in this position. You took away my virginity and took away my innocence. Now I am wayward and I would be wayward to you, not anybody else. I want you.”

  • A NIGHT WITH MY EX'S RIVAL.    Confrontations and Confessions

Tulip's POV I waited patiently at the arcade just as Xavier had said I should. But he was taking quite a while. I picked up my phone and tried calling his number, but it immediately went to voicemail. I felt so pissed as I took my seat, scrolling through my phone, trying to keep myself busy. This is the first time he had ever delayed me recently. He always gave me all his attention, rushing towards me and everything. And now, I don't know why, but I felt like I was so hungry, and I couldn't even resist him. He should just come. I don't care. I’d do it right here in the arcade. Just then, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I immediately smiled and stood up. “Xavier,” I called in excitement but saw that it was Damian. My heart immediately dropped, and my mood changed. “What? What the fuck are you doing here? And why did you just touch me like that? Who gave you the fuck permission to touch me?” I yelled at him, stepping away. “I'm sorry, okay? I didn't want you to run away. I kne
