Chapter 20

Beatrix got up from her bed the next morning, it was going to be a long day, she knew that.

She had no where to go, no work to do and she couldn't think straight. She thought about getting her life back together but she knew very well that it was going to be a very difficult task.

Nevertheless, she concluded that there was no harm in trying.

She got out of bed and took a warm shower, it might help her relief stress.

After than, she put on comfortable clothes and went on to prepare breakfast.

Knock! knock!

Beatrix heard a knock on her door

"Who's there?" she shouted out loud from the kitchen but the person knocked incessantly.

"Who could that be?" she took her plate of food and dropped it in the sitting room.

"Who's there?" she asked one more time but whoever it was, the person seemed ready to knock till eternity.

Taking a deep breath, she unlocked her door and opened it slowly.
