~Paxton's POV~

"This is indeed a tough one. How can five million dollars not impress her?" I asked myself as I stared at the wall thinking of her.

If I wanted to impress her and make her fall for me, I'd need to try harder and prove my love to her. I'll need to figure out the things she need and try giving them to her.

All these years, I never thought I'd come to care for someone the way I cared for Beatrix. I never thought I'd want to try to be perfect for someone; this was new and I was sure I wasn't going to ruin this. I'd try everything I can to make sure it works out well.

I turned to Beatrix who was lying on the bed with her back facing me and I moved closer to her.

"Bea" I called her and she turned to me, her surprised eyes stared at me like she had something to say but didn't know how to say it.

"Is anything wrong?" I asked bring my hands to her hair and I caressed it gently.

"No, nothing's wrong" she seemed rather unsure of her response.
