SIX YEARS LATER

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT — MEXICO CITY

9:30 A.M.

The terminal was packed with flashing cameras and shouting reporters.

Everyone pushed forward, desperate to get the best view.

“Move! Get the camera closer!” one cameraman shouted, shoving another aside.

“Do you think she’ll actually say something?” a female reporter asked excitedly. “I heard she doesn’t even speak to most of her managers.”

“Who cares if she talks?” another reporter replied. “Just keep your eyes on the runway!”

Vrooooom!

The loud roar of jet engines echoed through the airport as a sleek matte-black private jet touched down.

The tires hit the runway with a heavy thud.

The crowd instantly exploded with excitement.

“Oh my God!”

“She’s here!”

“She’s finally back!”

A team of tall bodyguards dressed in black suits stepped out first.

Their expressions were cold as they quickly formed a protective line.

“Stand back!”

“Give her space!” the head of security ordered.

The jet door slowly opened.

Sssshhh…

A pair of glossy black stilettos appeared first.

Then long legs wrapped in a perfectly tailored black pinstripe suit.

When Alita finally stepped into the sunlight…

The entire airport fell silent.

Her long dark hair danced gently in the breeze.

Her sharp features carried elegance and authority.

She no longer looked like the innocent actress who had disappeared six years ago.

She looked like a queen.

Beside her came two children.

A little boy.

A little girl.

Both dressed in matching black suits.

Their striking blue eyes calmly studied the crowd with an intelligence far beyond their years.

“Oh my God…” one reporter whispered.

“Are those really children?”

“They look like royalty.”

“No…”

“They look like little kings and queens.”

“Please marry me, L.B.!” a fan shouted from the crowd.

“Get in line!” another man yelled.

“L.B. is my future wife!”

Alita ignored every word.

Her expression remained calm.

Elegant.

Untouchable.

Suddenly, one photographer zoomed in with his camera.

His eyes widened.

“Wait…”

“That face…”

“Those eyes…”

His mouth slowly fell open.

“Isn’t that… Alita Brown?”

The crowd went silent.

Then chaos broke out.

“What?!”

“The actress who disappeared six years ago?”

“It really is Alita Brown!”

“Alita!”

“Where have you been?”

“Why did you disappear?”

“Who are the children?”

“Were you married?”

Questions flew from every direction.

Camera flashes lit up the airport nonstop.

Without saying a single word, Alita smiled politely.

A perfect smile.

Beautiful…

But completely empty.

She calmly entered the waiting black SUV.

Slam!

The door shut, instantly blocking out the noise.

Silence filled the luxurious interior.

“Ugh!”

Andria threw herself dramatically onto the leather seat.

“I hate paparazzi.”

“They smell like cheap coffee and desperation.”

Alita laughed softly.

“Hahaha…”

“I’m afraid you’ll have to get used to them, sweetheart.”

Andrea never looked up from the tablet resting on his lap.

He adjusted his glasses before speaking.

“Morning Star’s stock price increased by four percent the moment you stepped out of the plane.”

He looked at the screen again.

“Interesting.”

Alita looked at both of her children.

A warm smile appeared on her lips.

But deep inside…

Her heart still carried the scars of that night.

The night everything changed.

“Mom…”

Andrea finally looked up.

“When is Iron Man coming?”

That was what both twins called their grandfather.

Despite his old age, he was still incredibly strong and energetic.

“He’ll be here next week,” Alita replied.

“He had to finish taking care of something in France.”

Andria pouted.

“It’s so boring without him.”

Alita smiled and gently rubbed her daughter’s head.

“He misses both of you just as much.”

In another part of the city, a man dressed in black stood respectfully before his boss.

“Boss…”

“The woman you spent the night with six years ago has returned to Mexico.”

He paused before adding,

“She’s also the anonymous international supermodel Morning star just signed known as L.B.”

“And…”

“She has a pair of twins.”

The man sitting behind the desk slowly closed the file in his hands.

A dangerous smile spread across his face.

“So…”

He finally found her.

His fingers tapped lazily against the polished desk.

“Buy out the majority shares of the company anonymously’’. “She hid long enough.”

He slowly stood up.

“It’s time…”

“…to pay her a visit.”

Xavier was currently in the kitchen making breakfast for them. He had an apron around his neck giving him a funny look as he kept on flipping the pancakes on the pan, if Alita could see him right now she wouldn’t believe he was the same being she was hiding away from.“You look so funny in those,” Andria giggled. She was currently sitting on the kitchen counter mouthing on some apples while Andrea sat down quietly watching everything. Unlike his sister, he doesn’t talk much, that is another trait he got from his father.Xavier sighed dramatically before pointing the spatula at Andria.“Keep laughing and I’ll make you wash all the dishes.”Andria burst into another fit of laughter.“You don’t even know how to wash dishes yourself!”“I do.”“You don’t.”“I do.”Andrea simply shook his head before taking another bite of his apple.“So tell us Dad, where have you been all this while, like why haven’t you even visited us for once back in France?” Andrea asked cutely. For the first time in

After spending the evening with her grandfather on the phone and putting the twins to bed, Alita slowly walked into her bedroom. She smiled as she remembered Andrea and Andria arguing over who their grandfather loved more.“They’re impossible,” she whispered with a tired laugh. She closed the bedroom door behind her. With a long sigh, she removed her blazer and placed it over a chair. Her shoulders finally relaxed. For the first time all day…She was alone.Or so she thought.A strange feeling suddenly crept over her.Someone was watching her.The hairs on the back of her neck stood up.Alita spun around, her breath hitching in her throat.Standing in the shadows of her room was a man every powerful family in the world knew.Tall.Broad-shouldered.He looked less like a man and more like a sculpted god.His face was breathtakingly handsome, with sharp, chiseled features and a jawline that looked as though it had been carved from marble.Piercing ocean-blue eyes stared directly at her,

Maxwell’s Apartment — 10:00 AM Alita walked through the gates of Maxwell’s luxury apartment complex. Since she had been his girlfriend for years, the gatekeeper didn’t question her. He simply smiled politely and opened the gate. “Good morning, Miss Alita.” She forced a weak smile before walking inside. Her heart felt unbearably heavy. Right now… She just wanted someone to hold her. Someone to tell her everything would be okay. She entered the house and slowly lowered herself onto one of the plush white couches in the living room. Her body felt exhausted. Her mind felt empty. “Where’s Maxwell?” she asked the maid, who was dusting a nearby table. The maid froze. The feather duster slipped slightly from her trembling hands. “Oh… the boss…” she stammered. “He… he went on a business trip.” Alita frowned. Something felt wrong. The atmosphere inside the house was strange. Too quiet. Too tense. The maid refused to meet her eyes. “A business trip?” Alita slowly stood.
