Ava’s POV

“And what was the meaning of that?”

Oh no, did she see us in that weird position in her office? This is really bad!!

“I can explain!” Guilt looks disgusting on me and I know she can see it all over my face already. It’s better I just explain things out but before I could proceed, she beat me to it.

“What explanation do you really have for being rude to a wealthy client? You didn’t even respect the fact that he is your husband’s childhood friend..What is wrong with you Ava?”
