Chapter 1

Ava’s POV

I finished applying my make-up on and glanced at the mirror for the last time…Damn I look extremely hot in this red lingerie. One thing I know for sure, my husband won’t be able to resist me tonight. I grabbed the blonde wig and wore it immediately along with my heels. What’s left for me to do is to put on my coat as a means to cover so I don’t ruin the surprise then apply some rosy fragrance to smell good.

I checked the time…9pm. He should be home by now. I heard the sound of his car driving in, then I rushed to the living room to welcome him home, he already texted me telling me he had dinner with his workers so eating me tonight will make a balanced diet.

The door opened and there he was, my husband Pharrell Galen looking so handsome tonight despite stress from work.

“Welcome home love.” I tried to hug him but he stopped me saying, “Thank you Ava.” He walked past me to our bedroom, I didn’t let it get to me because I’m certain when he sees me properly after taking off this coat he will be mesmerized by me.

I joined him in the bedroom. “Why are you wearing makeup and that weird blonde wig?” He questioned taking off his suit and sleeve exposing his hot chiseled chest that’s so tempting and calling my soft palm to feel them.

“Don’t be so impatient, love.” I purred. Slaying majestically to feel his body and seduce him to see me then I slowly took off the coat maintaining eye contact with him…Gosh, I’m wet already I just want my husband to touch me tonight.

I’m craving for his touch, it’s been two years already and I’m dying slowly.

“Touch me love, what are you waiting for?” I whispered to his hearing before biting them and teasing him.

“Get off me!!” He pushed me off to the bed. Just like that he killed the mood.

“Why Pharrell? Don’t you find me attractive? It’s been two years already.” I cried out but what hurt the most was the fact he laughed….he just laughed at the whole situation as though I made a fool of myself doing this to get his attention.

“The time you use in keeping tabs of the last time we had sex,why not use it to get busy, I will be sleeping in the guest room since you won’t let a tired man have his rest in his own room.” He turned the table against me again. What have I done wrong to deserve such treatment from my husband?

Yes our marriage was not for love but my duty to my father and his two sisters and stupid me ended up loving my husband with an idea he loves just me not till I found out he was a cheat. He just wants to have sex with anything on skirt. At first I thought it was a mistake because he apologized to me.

Fuck me!!! I was just a fool forgiving him always and…… wait a minute… I got off the bed to check what I saw properly in his side pocket,maybe my eyes were creating things itself.

I slowly brought it out, it was a green pant….

“When you said you were coming home late today was it because you were pleasing your mistress?”

The tears dropping from my eyes while expecting a response from him..I expected him to lie to me, like come up with an excuse or just tell me he was sorry…at least something that won’t break me more than this but instead he said in a cold tone, “And what if I was with my mistress?”

“Pharrell!!!”

“Don’t you dare scream my name, you are just my wife and nothing more, good night Ava.” He grabbed a few things and left me all alone in the room. The silence hit me so bad I fell to the ground, buried my head on the bed edge crying out my eyes. Outside I got the perfect marriage but where there is no one, it’s nothing but hell of a marriage.

At work I focused on the wall and everything Trisha was saying to me sounded so distant to me.

“Ava!! Are you okay? Ava!!” She tapped me continuously till I finally returned to my senses.

“You were saying?” I tried to focus on the dress on the mannequin that needed a few touches to bring out the beauty while the other suit on the mannequin was ready.

“Ava, you are absent minded, what is going on?” She asked again and I just came up with a lie which I knew she doesn’t believe but pretends to.

Trisha, my best friend and my boss as well. She owns T- Fashion and T stands for Trisha, I’m her executive assistant and in the work room, I am one of her trusted designers so she doesn’t joke with me, if she finds out someone is about to give me an offer to work for them, she would do everything possible to convince me not to go and give reasons why her brand which is still struggling is best for me to stay…funny right? Well the truth is I love working here.

“So Ava, why don’t you convince your husband to patronize us and if possible sponsor our brand?” She blinked like a cute baby doll.

“Trisha, not this again.”

“I know but soon my business will be drowning if we don’t get wealthy clients like your husband, you can just give him hot sex and boom we have secured the deal.”

How do I even tell her my husband is disgusted by my body?

“Trisha, I want good credit to come to us without us asking, our products are amazing, someone who knows our worth will come across our design and will want to invest or patronize us, right now we got a suit to finish, I will go get a few things.” I ended the conversation that way.

“Jesus! Ava you are so serious right now but no problem, I know some day, a billionaire will walk into our shop.”

“Amen!!” I said with a smile.

I returned home and I heard a loud moaning coming from the kitchen. The lady was screaming so loud, ready to bring down the roof of this house. Don’t tell me the maid is making out with the gateman in my kitchen? They are so losing their jobs

I matched into the kitchen only for me to see Pharrell banging the maid so hard from behind.

“Pharrell!!!!” I screamed in disgust.

“Just a moment, I’m almost getting my come.” He didn’t even flinch seeing me. Instead he continued banging her as though I was invisible here.

I ran out of the kitchen in tears rushing to our bedroom bringing out my luggage, opening the closet, getting my clothes out, I have had enough already. It’s obvious Pharrell will never stop being a Casanova. I have endured for nothing. This is where I put a stop to everything, I’m divorcing him.

The door opened and he was smiling like he wore a trophy, “What’s all this fuss about? Come on I just banged her,she is a nobody but you are bearing my name which makes you number one.”

“To hell with this marriage, this is hell for me, for two years you haven’t even touched me yet you bang a maid in our home,I can’t go on living like this, you will hear from my lawyer about the divorce.” I said and resumed folding my clothes in the luggage.

“So not touching you is the reason you want to divorce me? Then get a man to touch you,I don’t mind, balance the whole thing.”

“What do you mean?”

“I just declared our marriage an open one, so return your things back to its place, I need to shower.” He said and my eyes widened.
