My father

My eyes slowly fluttered open and burnt from the bright light that was shining through the window. I squeezed my eyes shut and turned away from the light. "Oh! Shit", I groaned quietly as I slowly sat up, holding my head. It felt like it was going to explode. Feeling the banging through my head, I knew this hangover was going to suck. But as I opened my eyes, I gasped when I saw that I was not in my room, in my bed. I moved my legs to try and sit up but I was hit with a light pain. I looked down at my body and realized I was naked. My body covered with bruises and love bite.

That's when I remembered what happened last night.

The bar.

Getting drunk.

The stranger's house.

And the one night stand.

"FUCK- NO WAY!" I shouted as I looked around, the room deadly quiet. The walls were painted navy blue, the curtains were grey. Under the bed, covering the dark hardwood flooring, was a soft beige carpet. Whoever I slept with had a massive painting over his black bed frame. It was an abstract painting with black and white squares overlapping each other, creating a sort of disorganised chess tray.

But where is he?

My eyes fall on the bedside table then saw it. The piece of paper and my phone.

"Hey beautiful,

"I know by the time you will wake up, I will be gone but thanks for the night" , I read what was on the paper.

"God! I did it to myself ", Groaning , I quickly got up and jumped off the bed. I looked around the room and grabbed my bra and clothes. Quickly I started to get dressed but got frustrated when I didn't find my panties. I looked under the bed and everywhere and couldn't find them. I said fuck it and through on my dress, and the bra, before I grabbed my phone off the night stand in one hand seeing that it was 7am. I grabbed the shoes in my other as I quietly tip toed to the door and opened it slowly, not trying to make any noise.

I finally got the door open and slid out and hurried to shut it and ran down the house to the front door and left. I ran out the gate, walked down the street to the first bus stop I saw and sat to order a Uber that would be here in five minutes.

As the Uber pulled up and I hopped in, I couldn't help but think about what happened last night. I knew I consented and I knew I just had sex with a Greek god and knew each position we chose. The way he had my pinned and withered under him, made me want to moan. I got wet just thinking about it but it was wrong.

The Uber pulled up to my apartment and I went straight for the shower. I knew I had time to shower and take a nap before I had to be at one of the offices by 10am.

I felt so dirty and I felt wetness between my thighs. I knew I needed to shower. So I walked into my bathroom and stripped out the outfit and placed it in my hamper. I noticed it was getting full and telling me it was laundry day. Which I didn't mind about. 

I turned the shower and as I closed my eyes and began to scrub the shampoo into my hair and massage it, I moaned quietly with my mind slipping back to the way he was gripping and yanking my hair when he was hitting it from the back.

"Huh! Nicole You finally back", The voice of one of my roommates, interrupted my thoughts. 

"You told us to remind you of going to meet your......." , As soon as I heard that, realization hit me hard. 

Shit! I had forgotten that. 

Without hesitating, I quickly ran out of the shower then went for my laptop

"Thanks Ella, I had forgotten about it", I spoke as I sat on my bed..

"Your application to study from Hillside College has been successful this year", My eyes i'mmediately widened as soon as I tapped on my email. "I have been accepted Ella finally", I shouted in disbelief. 

"Then you should go and imform your sponsor ", Ella responded. She was right, I had to go and tell him .... in fact him for the first time. Ever since , I lost my parents in a car accident, he decided to sponsor me but I had never met him in person. 

With that in my mind, I quickly dressed up and ordered for a Uber which arrived immediately 

After paying my Uber driver, I stepped out and stared up at the place where my sponser was.

I entered the building as people observed me. Some stayed silent and some greeted me but I didn’t mind. I only tapped my black work bag impatiently waiting for the elevator to get to the floor, where I was supposed to find him. And soon as the doors opened, I rushed out

I wasn’t sure which office was supposed to be his, but when my eyes scanned the area, I found the boss’s door with his name and title printed on a gold plaque and his photo. Everything was well not until when my eyes fall on the photo.

 The photo? I immediately froze in mid motion.

Was I seeing right? 

I didn’t know whether I was day dreaming or but the person in the photo looked no one other the old fucking hot stranger who I had a one night stand with. 

Same hair 

Same color of the color of eyes and ..... 

My mind stopped to think when my eyes fall on Alexander. He was coming from the elevator walking towards me. What the hell is he doing here? He was the last person, I wanted to see. 

"Huh! Nicole , do you have an appointment with my father?",

"Father?", That was enough to make me faint.
