Aria's POV

Knox did not return home that night. I knew that because I stayed awake almost all night waiting for him.

When it was 5:30am, I groggily stood up from the bed to prepare for the training session with Hunter. Yesterday's training felt so long ago, like it had happened weeks ago, and not yesterday.

I reluctantly made my way to the bathroom. I cringed internally when I saw how awful I looked in the mirror. My blonde hair was disheveled, and my eyes were red and swollen from crying.

I washed my face, and tried to make myself look less like a mess—there was no use giving Hunter something to insult.

Honestly, I didn't want to go to training, but the more I stayed cooped up in the room, the more I was going crazy—and the dark voice had been strangely silent.

I needed something to distract me, and training might be just what I needed.

Fortunately, I made it to the training area without getting lost.

“You're late,” Hunter said coldly, without glancing at me. Just like yesterday, he

Aria’s POV‘Run.’Jade screamed in my head, but my legs wouldn’t obey. My body was frozen, as if he had cast some spell on me. His eyes gleamed with pure hatred and rage.“What are you doing here?” he asked again. This time, his voice was calm, too calm. A shudder ran down my spine at the edge in his voice.I took a shaky step back. “I—I was just—”His head tilted slightly, and he watched me like a predator watching his prey. “Were you trying to escape?” he asked, sneering in disgust. “Did you really think it would be so easy?”I didn’t answer. There was nothing I could say to change what was coming.‘Run,’ Jade hissed. ‘Run now or we’re dead.’I turned.Viktor moved like a shadow. There was no sound as he moved terrifyingly fast. I barely dodged as he lunged at me. My shoulder slammed into the wall. I winced as pain shot down my arm, but I didn’t stop.I kept running blindly, and desperately. I ran through the hallway, not caring where I was going as my heart pounded in my chest. The

Aria's POVThe wait felt like another form of torture. I had lost track of how long I had been locked up in this place.Kale and Raven were the only ones I saw, when they brought food and water. Kale was the only person I could talk to, but Raven? She was a different story entirely.I didn’t want to die, but the silence, the isolation, and Viktor’s words were eating at my mind, slowly driving me crazy. But I wasn’t just sitting on my ass, waiting for death to come.No.Viktor had underestimated me.He called me weak. He said there was nothing I could do.So, he left me unrestrained. That was his mistake.I waited, quietly, and carefully, letting them think I was as weak as they thought. After Raven dumped my tray of food and stormed out of the room as usual, I slowly stood up and walked to the door.My fingers shook as I reached for the handle. This was what I always did whenever they came by, hoping one of them would forget, especially Raven. Kale was too careful and observant to mak

Knox's POVI looked down at Cole again.“I don’t know if you like it,” he mumbled, “Aunt Lena made it. She said I should tell you to eat it while it’s warm.”Something cracked inside me.“Thank you,” I said hoarsely.I took the plate from him carefully, giving him a small genuine smile.Cole gave me a shy smile in response. I was about to step back inside when his voice stopped me.“The pack needs the Luna,” he said suddenly, his voice was quiet, but it echoed loudly in my ears. “But… they also need you.”I turned to look at him again, surprised by the depth of his words.“You can’t find her if you destroy yourself,” he continued. “The Luna needs you to be strong, and to be at your best.”There was a long silence after his words.I stared at him, completely shocked. This was a young boy of seven years, yet he had just said something that very few adults in the pack could dare to say to my face.“How did you get so smart?” I asked, my voice rough.Cole gave a little shrug. “I play ches

Knox's POVMy hands shook as I stared at the map before me. Another day had passed, yet nothing. It was now nine days since Aria was taken.I ran a shaky hand over my face. I hadn’t eaten. I hadn’t slept. Before I met Aria, I had always had problems with sleeping, but I always had a good night's sleep whenever I slept next to her.Every second she was gone, something inside me cracked a little more.I looked out of the window, watching as the patrols hurried about. Hunter gave out orders to the warriors. Some were returning and others were heading out, but they were all in vain.Shawn stood before me, always the bearer of bad news.“Theresa had refused to help,” he said quietly.I took a deep breath as disappointment washed over me.“She was the last witch willing to even pick up our call,” Shawn added with frustration in his voice.I clenched my jaw, growling in frustration. We had contacted every witch that we knew, from far and near, but none of them had agreed to help. They all ha

Knox’s POVI stared blankly at the door as I sat in my office, rubbing my temples. It had been eight days now.Eight days of silence. Eight days without seeing her face. Eight days without hearing her voice. Eight days of sleepless nights because of her absence.Fenrir was clawing beneath my skin, howling for our mate, always trying to take control to find and rip apart anyone in his way.The pack was on edge. Hunter and Shawn were leading every patrol unit to search everywhere, but there was no trace of her anywhere. And I was going mad.A sharp knock echoed through the room, pulling me out of my thoughts.“Come in,” I said, my voice was rough from lack of sleep.Shawn stepped in slowly and cautiously. He winced slightly as he walked, and I clenched my jaw.Fenrir had lost control three days ago, and unfortunately, Shawn had been too close.“Well?” I asked when he stayed quiet for too long. From the look on his face, I knew that he wasn't coming with good news.He shook his head, “I'

Aria’s POV“Alpha Blackwood bit her,” Viktor continued, his voice cold and dark. “He injected her with werewolf venom. He didn’t care that she was pregnant. I watched her screaming in my arms as she died a slow, painful death.”I froze completely. Knox had told me that he killed Viktor’s mate in a horrible way.“I watched her body convulse, and turn black from the venom. She begged me to end her suffering,” he hissed, his voice now filled with cold rage. “And I had no choice, but to obey her wishes and end her suffering.”He paused, then he chuckled darkly.“So now… I’m going to return the favor.”My knees finally gave way, and I crumpled to the ground. My hand instinctively went to my stomach. My baby.No.“We are done here,” Viktor said coldly and dismissively. Before I could say anything, Raven’s sharp claws were on my arm, pulling me away.“No!” I yelled, struggling against Raven’s iron grip. My voice cracked, and my legs kicked weakly, but it was no use, she was far stronger. The

  • A Night With The Alpha King: Rejected And Reclaimed   Chapter 132

Aria’s POVThe throne room was colder than the rest of the icy hallways that we had walked through. It was so cold that I could see my breath in the air. The room was so dark that it was hard for me to see, but the vampires had no problem seeing in the room.Even though the room was large, it felt suffocating.Through the darkness, I could see a towering golden throne, but I couldn’t see who sat there… but I could feel his eyes watching me. A chill ran down my spine, and the hair on the back of my neck stood up.My knees trembled. Everything in me screamed at me to run from the darkness. But I couldn’t, I could barely stand.Raven’s claws dug deeper into my arm before she released me, and I winced slightly. They both bowed slightly. “We brought her, my Lord,” Kale said.I waited for his response—but all I heard was silence. If not for the eyes I could feel boring into me, I would have started to wonder if anyone was really here with us.Finally, Viktor spoke in a cold, chilling voice.

  • A Night With The Alpha King: Rejected And Reclaimed   Chapter 131

Aria's POVI lost track of how long I had been tied down on the hard uncomfortable bed, waiting for my death sentence. I had cried so much that it felt like all my tears had dried up, so I had nothing left to cry.I hated this feeling. The feeling of hopelessness and despair that sat heavy in my chest.I knew that Knox would find me. There was no doubt about that, but the main issue was the state he would find me in. Would I be dead by then? Or would I have been seriously maimed? Or worse….my baby?My baby kicked in my womb, and a sad smile crossed my lips. This was the first time the baby was kicking, and Knox wasn’t here for me to tell. I couldn’t even rejoice about it, because it could be the last time.“Jade? Why can’t I heal myself?” I asked quietly, groaning lightly at the pain in my back. I had tried to heal myself from the wounds, but it hadn't worked.Jade sighed, sounding resigned. ‘I don’t know. My guess is that you can only help others, but not yourself.’I closed my eyes a

  • A Night With The Alpha King: Rejected And Reclaimed   Chapter 130

Aria’s POV“Beware of the witch…”I gasped, and my eyes snapped open. The first thing I felt was cold. The room around me was dark and had no windows, just one steel door. The room stank of blood and antiseptic, causing a wave of nausea to rush through me.I tried to sit up, but pain shot through my abdomen, and I cried out."My baby," I breathed. I tried to move my hand to touch my stomach, but my hands were tightly restrained.Panic surged inside me as I tugged at them, trying to set myself free.“Please…” I cried out, “Somebody, help me.”The last thing I remembered was Cornelius, the vampire, bleeding, then I fell unconscious. My back and arm were throbbing, reminding me of what had happened. My mind flashed back to Knox's claws tearing through my back, and my arm, and I winced. But that wasn't my number one worry for now.Was my baby still alive? Was I still bleeding? My mind raced with several horrible thoughts that caused tears to well up in my eyes.I strained my neck to look
