CHAPTER 17

I was jolted awake by the annoyingly loud buzzing of my phone. The loud sound disturbed the peaceful silence that was in the room, rudely awakened me from my dreamless state. I groan and glance at the window. The sun hasn’t even risen yet. Who the hell was even awake at such an ungodly hour?

I pick up the device and slide accept without even looking at the caller ID.

“Good morning bailey.” Hazel's voice slices through the silence in the room, I put my phone off speaker and made my way into the living room to avoid stirring up Shayna.

“It’s certainly not a good one anymore.” I mumble as i settle down on Shayna’s couch

“Uhh? Can you repeat what you just said, I didn't quite get you.”

“Ignore it, I wasn’t referring to you.” I lied
