The Abandoned Building

The building in front of Alka and Iko is not as huge as their hotel, but it had spacious parking lot. Dream Corp only had three floors and now it's in a really bad shape. Wild plants grew everywhere and tall grass almost closing the pathway to get inside the building. They can't park their rental car in the parking lot, because the gate was rusty and brittle, but they can get inside by foot.

So, Iko parked the car in front of that rusty gate and helped Alka to get inside the building. Alka was in a bad mood because of his body ache but he decided to ignore it.

"Let me ask you once more. Where were you last night?" Iko asked. He was freaked out because Alka didn't come back to their room last night and his phone turned off. If Alka is not today's "star of the show", Iko won't be worried like that. They're best friend since childhood afterall, of course he cares about Alka.

On the other side, the cool Alka sigh, "I lost my way and trapped in hotel's club." That is what Alka said since morning. He doen't want him to know that he got drunk and slept with a guy last night.

"Really? So far that I know, last night was gay night at the club. That is why I kept asking you, because I was worried," Iko said.

"So, that is the reason why there were no woman at all last night," Thought Alka.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'm okay by myself," said Alka to Iko.

"But you were drunk. And something funny about how you're walking. And, don't forget about those hickeys..." Iko touched his own collarbone, to tell Alka where the hickeys were on his body.

Alka bite his lower lip. "That asshole!" Cursed Alka to Robert. To be honest, Alka realized sooner or later his best friend will noticed there were something different about him. So, Alka tried to think about how he's going to explain what were happened last night. But, he also didn't want Iko think that he's gay because he had sex with a guy. 

"Let's just focus on this project, okay? We're here already, it doesn't matter if I had sex with anyone. Show must go on," He said. They went to the second floor. Nothing in the first floor and Alka didn't see any ghost. 

"SO YOU HAD SEX WITH SOMEONE AT THE BAR FOR REAL?!" Iko shouted. Alka hurriedly blocked Iko's mouth with his hand. He almost got a heart attack by hearing Iko's voice.

"GOD DAMN IT, IKO!" Alka yelled. "I'll explain it later, okay. Just get over it already!"

After Iko calmed down, Alka lets Iko go and went inside the building. Iko followed him behind.

"How does it feel?" asked Iko quietly.

"Can't remember," Alka answered half heartedly.

"Are you sure your body can handle today's activity?"

Alka sigh. Iko seems really curious about what Alka experienced last night.

"I mean, you were always a virgin, and now you told me that you had sex with a guy. I just can't imagine if you got trance and went berserk..." Iko continues to express his thoughts.

Alka stopped. He's shock about what Iko said.

"What? Did you see something? Should we start the live session?" asked Iko, started to opened his bag to take his camera.

"How did you know that I had sex with a guy?"

Noticed that Alka didn't see anything in the second floor, Iko said, "I have a good eyes. The way you walk is a bit weird, like I said before. And I was curious about how does it feels when a dick stuck inside your hole?"

Alka rolled his eyes. He thought Iko would freaked out if he knows that Alka had sex with a guy, but in fact, he seems okay about it.

"Hey, tell me already," said Iko again.

"Iko, are you gay or something? Aren't you disgusted after knowing that I had sex with a guy?" asked Alka.

"Hm... I think I always have been open minded person. It never bothers me. Well, I had gay friends and they were all coming out about their sex orientation."

Alka raised his hand, he asked Iko to stop talking about gay. "Please. It's not a place to talk about that, isn't it?"

"Oh. Right. Sorry."

"So, we were supposed to meet someone here, right? Who was it again?"

"It's Mr. Jovan. He is a counselor specialized in paranormal activity. He sent the soul to the other world and helped them to finish their unfinished business in this world," Iko explained.

"Wow. Looks like he's good. Is he popular? Never heard about him anyway," comment Alka.

"Well, that's hurt. You think you're popular, Alka?" asked someone's barritone voice from behind, a voice that Alka remembered this morning.

Alka and Iko turned and saw Robert walked behind them with a wide smile.

"You... Robert...? What are you doing here?" asked Alka.

"Robert? Who's Robert? He's Mr. Jovan that I told you just now," said Iko.

"No, he's... What the hell??" Alka confused.

"I'm sorry, Dear. Robert is not my real name. I only use the name when I looked for a date. My real name is Jovan. Nice to meet you," Robert, a.k.a. Jovan, stretch out his hand to Alka, but Iko who shake them instead of Alka.

Jovan smiles and asked, "So, where do we start?"

"Why don't we go to the third floor and walk to the first floor during live session?" Iko suggested.

"Good idea. Shall we?" Jovan gave them a sign to go to the third floor together. Alka didn't say anything the whole time. He didn't know how to react or what to say to Jovan, the man who lied to him to get his virginity.

Alka tried to be professional in front of camera, but his mind couldn't accept the situation with Jovan. He hated himself for giving in to liquor and turning himself in to a jerk like Jovan.

"I'm sorry," Alka made a T sign with his hands, asking a time out for the live session. "Can we take a rest for a minute? I can't do this." Alka turned off his bluetooth mic and walked away from the camera.

He couldn't do his job very well when his mind thought about something else. In this case, Jovan lies and what he did to him last night.

"What's wrong?" asked Jovan. He also had his mic turned off and walked towards Alka, wondering what's in the guy's mind.

"It's you who's wrong!" Alka shouted.

"Why? What did I do?" Jovan confused.

"What did you do, you said?" Alka lower his voice and said, "You raped me last night. You tricked me to get my virginity because you're gay!"

"Whoa, that's not true, Alka. As I said, I'm interested in you, I didn't tricked you or take an opportunity for having sex with you. I like you, that's why I'm glad when you offered yourself to me."

"Is that how you express your feelings to someone you like? By lying to them and tell them that you're Robert?"

"Okay. Look. I wasn't sure that we're going to meet again today. I thought it will be a one night stand, so I introduced myself as Robert. But today, when I saw you here, I thought, it might be destiny to meeting you again."

Alka glares to Jovan, as if he's going to punch him in the face. But Iko stepped in between them and tried to calm them down.

"Guys, can you not doing this now? We need to finish this before dark and move to the next session. Please?" asked Iko.

"Sure," Jovan responded.

"How about you, Alka? Can you be professional?"

"... Okay. I'll do it," said Alka.

"Great. Let's started it over again. Both of you, please greet our viewer and apologize for the delay," Iko started to shoot Alka and Jovan again and ended the live session before dark. Luckily, Alka didn't get trance at all during the live session. It might be because of the necklace his grandmother gave him since he was a kid. Alka never take it off, because his grandmother said it'll protect him from evil spirits.

In the next session, they had to walk inside the building one by one and light a candle in a place where has a strong mystical aura. He have to stay inside a circle made from salt and wait for the next person to come. The three of them will sit in the center of the circle and wait for 30 minutes in the dark, and that's it. If there's a spirit, Alka will tell the other and tried to talk to the spirit about the building and its owner before they went bankrupt.

That was the plan. Who knows what will happen to the three of them.
