"And you don’t know of any Alphas who would do such a thing?” I ask my dad while we sit on the couch in my office.

He leans forward with his elbows resting on his knees and shakes his head, “Not a single one. It’s not common practice anymore and even under the best of circumstances most Alphas fear the repercussions from the Delegation,” he explains.
