Chapter 87 – Jayler The next morning was both promising and frightening. I’m more than determined to own this day and finally tell Kenneth and Jasper about my true sexuality because if not now, when? When is a very difficult question because what if I never tell them and they’d go on with their own lives without knowing who I really am as their friend? Chapter 88 – Jayler “Woah, Jasper! What’s wrong with you?” Kenneth asked and I could clearly tell something’s not right with Jasper and Kenneth’s quite puzzled just as I was. I have imagined a lot of scenarios prior to this engagement but I never thought of this specific one. Jasper appeared to be hateful, much hateful than Kenneth. Chapter 89 – Lance To say that I’m exhausted after the long performance at the wedding was definitely an understatement. I’m more than exhausted, in fact, I’m excited to sit down and have a moment but on the positive side of things, I’m through the roof and exceedingly satisfied with how we performed. I had this inner confidence that we will do well enough but I never would’ve thought we’ll be received pretty nicely by everyone in the audience. When I sang the original song that I wrote for Dominic and Valentine, we had a standing ovation and I thought it’s for the newly wedded couple but they were just standing in the middle of the dance floor watching me perform the original song. Chapter 90 – Lance It’s been several days since the wedding was over and everything went back to normal. So far nothing has gone weird or exciting and I might say it has gone back to being overtly typical. My life returned to waking up just doing my own stuff and then going to the café by the afternoon and going to my nightly gigs by nightfall. The only change I had was I am now starting to pull out all of the songs that I’ve shelved and began singing them trying find good bops because I know most of the songs that I wrote are either mid-tempo ballads or just a sad song with no sick beat. I understand the fact that in order to enter the scene, you should either have a real banger of a song or date someone famous so you could promote your music in their limelight. Chapter 92 – Joyce They say time and tide wait for no man nor a woman. And I say that’s precisely true.
