Chapter 82 – Lance I sat at the passenger’s seat as Yhannie drove. We both looked like we haven’t slept for days mostly because we’ve been extremely busy with a lot of stuff regarding this upcoming wedding. I didn’t realize organizing weddings most especially huge weddings like this was going to be that complicated and exhausting. In addition to that, I had my part time job at Fidelitea and the nightly gigs. I’ve been working pretty hard for the first time since I dropped out of college. Chapter 83 – Lance I don’t have any idea why I’m sitting with the all-star cast of this grand wedding during dinner. Obviously, I’m the odd one out and if I wasn’t Yhannie’s assistant, I’d probably be having this dinner at the other table along with my bandmates and some random folks. I feel really out of place and I had to put on that fraudulent mask called smile just to get along with everybody. My social skills are on point even though I feel like I don’t deserve to be in this table. Chapter 84 – Lance “You may now kiss each other!” The priest announced after pronouncing Dominic and Valentine as husband and husband. Everybody brought out their phones and began capturing the moment. “Shit, wait, I need to film this.” Yhannie slammed her purse onto my chest once again as she quickly raised her phone to film Nick and Val at the altar. Thankfully, she’s over with the whimpering and the crying because I’m sick of her emotion and it was like a virus and it’s spreading on me. I know this moment is very much special to her just as it was special to Dominic but she’s got to have to get her shit together, she still has a lot of things to check once we go to the hotel hall. Chapter 85 – Jayler “Yow, what is wrong with you man? You’ve been acting pretty weird lately.” Kenneth began. We were having lunch and I’m assuming he noticed how I’ve been playing with my food instead of just eating it. “What?” I asked and I was seemingly on another planet. Chapter 86 – Jayler “I’m so sorry. That must be pretty hard for you.” Franco uttered with his very understanding tone and I can’t help but feel a little bit better. Had I known about their existence a long time ago, I would’ve already talked to them. I’d probably already ditched Jasper and Kenneth in exchange for Franco and Drake. Chapter 87 – Jayler The next morning was both promising and frightening. I’m more than determined to own this day and finally tell Kenneth and Jasper about my true sexuality because if not now, when? When is a very difficult question because what if I never tell them and they’d go on with their own lives without knowing who I really am as their friend? And while I’m still veiled in fear, I’m still looking forward to knowing their reaction may it be violent, negative or positive. It took me hours last night just to enter some data in my heart and mind. I promised to myself that I’m going to be okay with whatever reaction I get from Kenneth and Jasper. Chapter 88 – Jayler “Woah, Jasper! What’s wrong with you?” Kenneth asked and I could clearly tell something’s not right with Jasper and Kenneth’s quite puzzled just as I was. I have imagined a lot of scenarios prior to this engagement but I never thought of this specific one. Jasper appeared to be hateful, much hateful than Kenneth. In fact, Kenneth was the one who’s keeping Jasper away from hitting me. I know he was annoying and childish a little while ago but this was just a huge one-eighty turn for him. “Don’t tell me Jayler has been sucking your dick, Kenneth.” Jasper continued accusing Kenneth of things that aren’t even true. “What? Chapter 89 – Lance To say that I’m exhausted after the long performance at the wedding was definitely an understatement. I’m more than exhausted, in fact, I’m excited to sit down and have a moment but on the positive side of things, I’m through the roof and exceedingly satisfied with how we performed. I had this inner confidence that we will do well enough but I never would’ve thought we’ll be received pretty nicely by everyone in the audience. When I sang the original song that I wrote for Dominic and Valentine, we had a standing ovation and I thought it’s for the newly wedded couple but they were just standing in the middle of the dance floor watching me perform the original song. I saw how Dominic shed some tears and that’s when I knew I did him justice. By the time, I was done singing the first chorus, Dominic and Valentine finally began dancing.
