"Thank you all for taking your time in accepting to come to this meeting on such short notice," Alpha Randall began.
”Many of you here have a clue as to the reason for this meet. Yes, it’s for the discussion of all the missing wolves from our packs for the past few years."
"But Alpha Randall wasn’t the same issue discussed in last week’s gathering with the High-Council?” asked Keith, Alpha of the Riverdale pack.
"Yes, if it’s the same thing we are wasting our time. We don’t have any leads and are still in the dark," Alpha Blake from the northern pack exclaimed. ”The High-Council has informed they will take care of this issue."
“And how long do you plan to wait for the High-Council to take action?" the outsider interrupted. "This issue has been brought into the High-Council’s notice a few years ago, but until now no action has been taken."
“I would suggest you let us know who you really are before you speak," said Alpha Blake.
"I apologize for the delayed introduction, but before we begin I have a few requests to be made," he said looking around at each of them.
"Go ahead," informed Alpha Randall.
“First off, we request only the Alphas to be present at this meeting the rest needs to leave. Secondly, whatever is spoken in this meet should not leave the four walls of this room. If you accept we can proceed with this meeting."
As soon as he finished speaking, there was uproar amongst all the men gathered. Most of them stood up to confront the new comer’s; sparks were flying across the room talking about the absurdity of such requests. The stranger continued without panicking at the outburst, “We have answers to all the questions ailing your packs in regards to the disappearances of the wolves. We have information which will help to resolve the issue. But if you are not ready to accept then we will leave and you can keep searching for your missing wolves."
The room became silent with this new information. Ryan realized the issue of the missing wolves was constant pain for all the packs. There have been no leads or clues on their whereabouts. Now this pack was presenting an opportunity on shedding some light. “Shall, I make a suggestion,” he offered.
"We can accept the second part of your request. But as for the first half, I would suggest Beta’s remain in the meeting." Other Alphas nodded in acceptance. The stranger’s eyes glazed over, intimating his response in mind link with his pack. "We accept,” he informed.
Once the others cleared the room and it was locked, he began “My name is Bryan Mathews, and I am the Alpha of the Night-Fury pack."
His statement was met with silence across the room as everyone processed the information. All the Alphas tensed and the Betas were going in a defensive stance.
′The Night-Fury pack? Does she belong to the Night-Fury pack?′ Ryan panicked.
“This is bad," thought Luka. Ryan looked across the room and saw the alarmed expression on Randall’s face, ’So even the old man didn't know.'
He couldn’t believe he was sitting in the same room as the Night-Fury pack - The most cold-blooded pack that ever existed. A pack made up of rogues and assassins. A pack whose existence the High-Council has refused to acknowledge and declared them outlaws. The name was actually a myth.
Till now, Ryan doubted if the pack existed. No one knows where they originated from. No one knows where the pack's base is. Rumors about any major assassinations and cold-blooded massacres were tagged with the Night-Fury pack. But the High-Council has always rejected that news as rumors. ′What the hell does the Night-Fury pack knows, that even the High-Council does not?′
